I don't think so other than a small minority
When people say that, I'm always drawn back to this snide remark from Health Minister Nadine Dorries:
Neither side should be seeking political gain from this pandemic, but it looks like Corbyn was right on this occasion.
Don't see the point of bringing up random idiots on other parts of the internet hoping Boris dies. Seen no sign of it on here and all discussion of it is likely to do is cause arguments.
You really are a piece of work aren't you ?
Let's hope you don't catch the virus, how would we live without your pointless being ?
Just as tediously as before I imagine?
Will there be?
Morons who would rejoice at this type of news are simply morons, regardless of their political hue.
Unfortunately I’ve seen a lot of stuff on Twitter of people revelling in these news. Yes I know it’s a minority but it’s not good to see. pointless discussion anyway, there’s dickheads on both sides.
And you’ve just made a political point for no reason whilst the Prime Minister is in intensive care.
You'd get the same with some people with Corbyn if he got it.
Hope he pulls through.
Perhaps it'll help him realise Cummings is a madman though, he was wanting to unleash this on everyone in the UK.
I have seen the odd person mention some of the comments that Boris has made about the disease, that he'd probably have regretted saying, but I've not seen anything wishing ill on him though.
I'm sure there out there, as you say there's dickheads on both sides, I've not seen anything myself yet though.
I’ve said it before, but I firmly think the use of language has led to some awful decisions. Medical experts and the WHO insisting on calling any condition which doesn’t require oxygen a “mild disease” have badly misinformed policy makers. If you ask me about mild illness, it’s something that needs a couple of paracetamol and a good nights sleep - not coughing up a lung for two weeks and struggling for breath.
A large majority of people who have the illness do have mild symptoms though? (something like 80%)
True but the issue might be if he has underlying issues previously uneducated.
It’s weird that over the last few years people on the internet seem to have collectively decided that nobody online is trolling anymore.
A few years ago people would say stupid offensive shit online and everyone went “he’s obviously trolling, he’s looking for a reaction. I’ll ignore him” and it largely worked. It seems we’ve now regressed to a point where someone with an anonymous profile on twitter says they hope BJ dies and people rush to give them the attention they’re clearly after.
This narrative of ‘here come the labour lefties to revel in Boris being ill’ is complete rubbish.
The people who say they hope he dies are the same type of people who have made awful jokes at Pep Guardiola’s expense today. They are just sad internet trolls who should be castrated as they are completely meaningless life forms
This seems possible as we do not know his health other than what is obvious to us. (weight and age)
Yeah, as I've said I don't dispute that there are dickheads out there.
As a human being, as a daughter, a sister , a mum, a nanny and and a partner, I find this heart breaking that people feel like this, I really do
