The irony being everyone else who was flouting lockdown was deemed selfish on here, but these protesters get a free pass ? Isn’t it selfish to subject the rest of the population to another lockdown because they felt compelled to protest over something that didn’t even happen here? It’s also ironic that they’re saying black lives matter , all the while their actions could end more black lives

A bit like that bloke who boasted about shaking hands with Covid-19 patients, then caught it himself and ended up in intensive care.

The only people who will decide if there is a another lockdown... is the Government, pal.

And looks like they aren't holding up too well themselves: Business secretary tested for Covid-19 after feeling ill during Commons speech

Must have been them bloody protesters, eh?

Well if the same government are so lax with the "rules" and they allow their chief advisor to piss all over said rules...then yes they are, partly :shrug

    And whose faulty was that?

Yeah, good old Boris with his cop out "Please if you can, dont go the pubs"

Rather than being a proper leader with balls and the countries health at heart and demanding pubs closed their doors, immediately. Nooo, he couldn't do that could he? as they'd have been liable to cover the pubs losses :rolleyes

which they will inevitably do if the virus spirals out of control too. Those protesters most likely came from different parts of the country , so they potentially get themselves infected and move back . Damage done. No more localised lockdowns if loads of different areas get spikes at the same time .

It’s also not just me either. Loads of us know people who are very vulnerable to this virus and it can easily impact them . There are also business owners seeing their businesses destroyed from any extended lockdown enforced.

Want to know the demographic who flouted lockdown most too? It was millennials, the majority of our fines were issued to them . You know, those enlightened selfless Corbyn voters who were just trying to help others . Of course , they are a demographic very unlikely to develop complications from this virus , so they had no problem gathering en masse to protest something

The Government changed the rules to allow people travel any distance they like, mate.

What are you misunderstanding? Direct your anger at the people who told the populace it is fine to travel across the country.

What are the rules for drivers now under the UK lockdown?

It's pointless even discussing anything on here with some people.

    It's always the Tories fault.

Says a tory who still blames Labour for the country being skint? 12 years and 4 tory governments later

Or blames Labour for the country being over populated?

Fact of the matter is, your government is there to "govern" and look after the countries populace, the tories have failed miserably, so yeah, an awful lot is in fact their fault :shrug

‘Peaceful protests’ today in London. Why is this violence and abuse towards police officers not getting reported on sky news, bbc news etc etc.

Young scallies are obviously using this now just to have a free ride at being the little scumbags they are. Most probably dont give a shit about the real reason people are protesting.
