I think he is. People always ask where the goals will come from if Kane gets injured, well Son is the answer to that.
He also seems to be the one player in the front 4 that makes way for others (he's played about 6-650 minutes less than the others and hasn't been injured) and in many peoples eyes is the one to improve on, yet he's better than Alli for me, certainly this season. His goals ratio in all competitions is up there with the best players. In the CL and Prem he has a goal every 163 minutes, that's better than Firmino and Lukaku for example. People certainly rate him but not as highly as I think he should be tbh. Doesn't qualify for this thread mind you.

And i think most ppl agree with this. Therefore not underrated imo. I think hes a cracking little player. Alli is English therefore the media love him.

Alli reminds me of Thomas Muller. Nothing truly stands out in his game yet he pops up every season with consistent end product.

Son Heung-min may not have the looks of a super star, but he's definitely one of the best players in the PL. The South Korean class act is way more valuable to his team than pogba for example.

What about Eriksen? I don’t seem to see many people talk about him, he’s a joy to watch. Great player.

I don't get people who say he's overrated. Yes he's a very dislikeable twat if he doesn't play for your team but I think that clouds people's judgements.

This is already to be his fourth season in senior football with 25+ goals/assists. Every possibility it will become his 3rd with 30 too. Three of those four seasons in the Premier League too.

    He is 21 years old!!

Those would be great numbers for someone in their prime.

On a separate note, 3 more goals for Son this week. A bit of a paradoxical situation. At what point does his form go from making him a candidate in this thread to being rated higher and therefore not a candidate for this thread

I agree, Eriksen is definitely one of the best players in the PL. His creative and technical skills are a sight for sore eyes. Does he score enough to be in the picture?

He’s not a scorer, he’s a creator. His job is to find that pass that can unlock defences and I think we struggle without his creativity.

Harry Kane definitely wouldn’t be who he is now if it wasn’t for Eriksen imo.

I think for what he does creativity wise, he scores plenty. During his time at Spurs, he's been quite consistently a 1 in 4 scorer, which is perfectly good enough for someone whose prime objective is to create, not score.

In the last 3 or 4 season he's got a broadly similar rate to each of Silva, Ozil and Mata, who are probably the three most comparable players in the league.
