When is the voting deadline for the other draft?
Sunday lunch time?
After I submit my votes
How about a 1-11 draft where you have to pick players based on the squad numbers they have listed on transfermarkt? Must pick squad of nos 1-11.
Post-2000 lower league heroes
Make it nice and simple and make it a World Cup Draft. Using the squad number idea.
After the last one I think simple is the way to go.
The World Cup One to Eleven Draft, I like it!
Shirt number, plus alternating Star Sign between each pick.
Anyone else fancy running it?
how about a relegated/promoted draft? alternative picks of players who have either been relegated or promoted?
Got this one in mind, similar to one one we ran a few years ago.
Every participant messages me a national team, no one knows who anyone has chosen until the draft starts.
I reveal who everyone chose at the beginning once i receive all messages.
Next step is to simply build a team with players who has been capped by that said country.
Do you go for a route which is likely to be chosen by someone else or do you go down a different route to gain control of that said country.
If everyone is happy, i will put up sign ups and get this started when Django is completed.
I will send my country to someone who isn't participating.
Doesn't this has the potential to be boring if you're the only one to land a nation? There's no drafting left for you to do, just handing in your final team whenever you want.
Was just an idea.
Maybe instead of just one nation, you submit 4 nations, and you have to build your team out of that 4 nationalities. That should ensure a lot more overlap. Your team must have no less than 2 players from each of the 4 nations submitted.
That would be fun
How about a club instead of a nation?? least then there will near certainly get overlap?
just European teams or something
It's a different kind of overlap with clubs. I reckon less club overlap, but more player overlap.
dont be silly pool is still massive
I know, that's what I meant. Since there are more clubs than nations, chances are our clubs might not overlap as much as if we were playing nations. However, unlike with nations, our players will still overlap plenty even if our submitted clubs don't.
