Leeds have had a bid turned down by Brighton for Haydon Roberts, a talented 18 year old centre-back who played in the League Cup win over Portsmouth. Only adds to the bit of a saga between the two clubs, but don't think they aren't going to get too far with it as Brighton are far too financially sound to be willing to let go of their best young defenders.

It seems like they're after a young centre-back, who's be better cover for them than Strujic. If they went in with some real intent for either of ours, they'd probably get them.

If he signs for United and absolutely flops it'd be amazing. Can't see him fitting in at Spurs either.

It’s better than him going on bloody loan to a club like Swansea.

Fulham launch bid to sign Leicester City midfielder Daniel Amartey- report

Fulham are trying to lure Leicester City midfielder Daniel Amartey to Craven Cottage according to a report.

Football Insider claim the Cottagers have approached the Foxes about the availability of the Ghanaian who, it is claimed, could leave the King Power for £5m.

Amartey has struggled to feature in Brendan Rodgers' first-team plans, a problem not helped by injuries.

Fulham boss Scott Parker is said to be an admirer of the defensive midfielder and tried unsuccessfully to land him during the January window.

But they are now determined to get Amartey at the second time of asking with the player having two years remaining on his current deal.

Amartey, who signed for the club for £6m from FC Copenhagen four years ago, did feature for Leicester in pre-season in a friendly draw against Blackburn Rovers but has not played in a competitive game under boss Brendan Rodgers.

Fulham, beaten by Leeds 4-3 at the weekend, are keen to strengthen their squad ahead of the transfer window closing early next month after alreadying signing nine players this summer.

They have also allowed departures with then most recent being Cyrus Christie to Nottingham Forest.

He’d play in place of Kane in the cups in the early stages.

Unless he was playing with Son and/or Kane he'd be useless.

Surprised he's not being taken to court for libel for that to be honest.

They're getting absolutely destroyed by our club at the moment

    * Kaveh Solekhal forced to take down a tweet falsely claiming he'd been racially abused by one of our fan accounts

    * Kelly Cates having to formally apologise for Patrice Evra's remarks re: Wilfried Zaha, probably because they'd been threatened legally

    * Sky Sports Football having to re-write their story about Rhian Brewster after being caught lying by our own chairman

I can't even watch that 'Transfer Centre' bollocks anymore. It's so cringeworthingly bad.
