Any quality buys then that'd you'd recommend? Youngsters and oldies alike...along with the price tag.

    Juan Roman Riquelme (26-ish) - £6.5m
    Christian Wilhelmsson (23-ish) - £2.5m

    Ah yes.

They're all youngsters - that was crucial.

Bolton do not sign anyone under the age of 35 ;)

I play Lower League Managemet normally and Frank De Boer and Pierre Wome will sign for a league one club. You can Eoin Jess for about 3k as well from Forest. All those three are good signings but only have them on short term deals as they are quite old. They should do a job for you though.

For big teams in the prem I think Robinho is about £5m.

If you've downloaded the transfew update Liverpool will have Morientes and he's shit hot.

Dagoberto - a decent young striker for £4.5m although if you really need him and they won't sell, he has a release clause of £12.25m or so.

Niculae Mitea - could probably get him for £10m at the beginning of the game. Awesome.

Dimitar Berbatov is also ace, but expensive - I got him on a free.

At the lower end, my best buy was probably Flamini, £1.2m and he is superb. Got Veron for £1m as well, can't hack too many games, especially not 2 games a week, but his passing, corners, free-kicks, long-shots are pretty awesome.

Bradley Orr for £8k from Bristol City has grown into a very useful centre midfielder, the same with Jason Puncheon who cost me £3k and a friendly with MK Dons, developing nicely at left back. John Lukic for peanuts from Forest, England U19 keeper, the fans went mad when I got him. Also Aliadiere who banged in the goals for me when on loan from Arsenal who didn't renew his contract.

Decent League One players (or at least ones I signed for Brstol City) include:

Eoin Jess - (AM C) signed for £0 from Nott'm Forest

Lilian Nalis - (DM C) £16k from Leicester

Dani - (AM C) Free Agent at beginning of game - get's a bit annoyed playing lower lague footie though.

Stephen Cooke - (AM RLC) Got him on loan from Villa, shooting fairly poor, but generally a good player.

Naldo - (D C) signed him from RS Futebol (? - something like that - was also on loan at some point to Juventude) - £100k, but well worth it, worth over £1m now (2 months after signing him).

On the trail of Pompey's young Italian goalkeeper called Guatelli - out of contract at the end of the season, but can't afford the compo and don't know how much extra money I'll get when promoted!

Currently 8 points clear at the top of League One, with three games in hand, just got knocked out of the FA Cup in the Quarter Finals by Everton (0-1)(thrashed Pompey 4-0 in R5!) and got Chesterfield in the final of the LDV Trophy. So looking good basically. My four main strikers have 56 goals between them, and I've just rejected Ipswich's £1.4m bid for Lee Miller.

I wouldn't bother. I signed him for Havant & Waterlooville in my third season there and he couldn't cut it in the Conference.
