Talented player, but attitude stinks. Do we really want that at Spurs....Adebayor mark 2.

It's a funny one for me. If he came here would he kick off like he did at WBA? I don't know... He'd be playing for one of the best clubs in the country, and unless he is playing well he wouldn't intrest anyone better. He has a good goal record., playing in a team that doesn't really score that many. He could link up well with Kane, as they have played with eachother at U21 level.

Like you say his attitude is crap, and the money being touted about for him is silly. If we ended up with him I would be neither upset nor overjoyed. I would have to give him some time to see how he does.

well I guess poch has faith in son/ Njie as good back-up for kane. apparently the move for French dembele has broken down as we wanted him now. Fulham wanted him loaned back

Pritchard on loan to west brom. interesting one- good chanceto get some premiership experience under his belt. hopefully they play him quite a bit.

Would be happy if Pritchard went to WBA on loan. Good experience for him.

Don't think Poch trusts Fazio after his appearance in the cup.

Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Dier and Carter-Vickers options at CB. Obviously have to hope Toby and Wimmer stay fit whilst Vertonghen is out.

Only problem with Dier at CB is that we then lose him in midfield where he's excelled this season.

Looks like we've signed Topal on a free, wanted him last summer but bid was rejected.
A proper DM and good to have as a rotation player and adds a lot of experience.

Sensible transfer from the looks of it.

As I'm a neutral so you guys will know more about Tottenham than me,
I would say you don't necessarily need to strengthen the first 11. I think you have a very good starting 11 and it would be very hard to find realistic signings to come straight in the team.
However with champions league football next season you will certainly need to improve the depth of the squad.

. Need at least 1 CDM, possibly 2 if Bentaleb leaves.
. Could do with another Winger to rotate/Challenge with Lamela.
. Probably need 2 backup strikers. I can see you going for a younger like Dembele at Fulham and then going for a more experienced striker who's happy to just play cup games.

So like I said, you don't need upgrades on the starting 11, you just need to bulk up the squad a little with 3 or 4 new signings

we certainly need to improve our underbelly. it would be nice if we could improve the first 11 but that might be tricky. but we can certainly improve the second 11 considerably. as much as I like them i'm sorry- seeing the likes of carroll and mason coming off the bench sometimes left me sighing. i'm a bit lukewarm to Njie as well. he hardly played but when he did he looked a lost sheep (bar that crazily good assist for lamela in the 4-1 win over city). theres a few other players than often appear on the subs bench that don't exactly take ur breath away.

I like the links I've seen with us to Bree Embolo.

Going to be tricky finding that right balance.

Seen a lot of people saying the likes of Mason and Carroll and so on should be out the door but then I think that's where half our strength has been. Fully committed players, a great team spirit, a togetherness that we've never had before.

Poch has to try and find the right quality without breaking up our strengths. People always want us to spend money and the last time we did that we had one of the most spineless squads in our history, did not give a shit provided they were picking up a wage.

Leicester have just won the f**king league so it's not all about money. The likes of Mason and Carroll add something imo, I'd have kept Townsend too if he was happy playing a squad role but he wasn't.

Give the benefit of the doubt to some of our players - particularly ones that "our own".
Our first 11 is full of players that were deemed not good enough. Kane was never going to make it, Dier a "utility man" who didn't have one position he excelled in, Lamela not good enough for English football, Rose not good enough, Dembele a frustrating talent.
Kane's had two 20+ seasons, Dier and Dembele are two of the first on the teamsheet, Rose has been one of the best left-backs in the country and Lamela has been excellent imo (although still splits opinion).

The only exit I'd have is Fazio which is inevitable and then I'd add a little quality. I still have reservations over Son and N'Jie but this is only their first season. It's taken Lamela three to get up to scratch. It took Modric a while too.

Not a lot to talk about in the off season except ridiculous transfer rumours. They don't really bother me either, half of it is nonsense.
