While everyone has been focusing on the football World Cup one man has been quietly going about his business masterminding the revival of one of the biggest clubs on the planet.... Tottenham hotspur. Spurs have always had a romantic link with Argentinians, who could forget the likes of villa, ardiles and tarricco? COME ON YOU SPURS!!!
Mauricio Pochettino (The argentine alex ferguson) knows that he faces the biggest challenge of his career. Man Utd, chavski and arsenal have been throwing the cash around openly flouting the laws of Financial Fairplay. but pochettino has been content to sit back and observe from behind the scenes whilst he puts his master plan in operation. Spurs have gone to the USA and will no doubt come back with a legion of new found fans.

I cant wait to see pochettino tactically outwitting the likes of moroninho and wenger. what those clubs have in ££££ poch can make up for with his tactical genius.

But bringing glory back to white hart lane is not enough- he will have to do it with the flair and sexy football always associated with Spurs. Everyone knows the spurs are known for their sexy football.

SPURS ARE BACK! NO MORE WILL WE PLAY SECOND FIDDLE TO THOSE C*NTS AT THE EMIRATES AND STAMFORD BRIDGE. LETS DO IT BOYS.... LET SMASH EM UP. LETS TEAR THE PREMIER LEAGUE TO SHREDS AND BRING THE GLORY DAYS BACK TO WHITE HART LANE. COME ON YOU SPURS!!!! I WANNA BE IN THAT NUMBER.... OH WHEN THE SPURS GO MARCHING IN!!!!
what do you think? can poch succeed? can spurs get back into the top 4 this year and assume their rightful place amongst the European elite. I don't know about you but I feel it in my bones- SPURS ARE GOING BACK TO THE TOP AND THE ARGENTINIAN FERGIE IS TAKING THEM THERE! if pochettino can unearth 2 or 3 world class players in the next month the sky cud be the limit for super spurs.

ITS TIME FOR THE POCHETTINO REVOLUTION TO BEGIN....

I get the feeling this is a recurring post every time Spurs get a new manager.

Tactically outwitting other managers is something he will not be doing. He plays one way and one way only. Do you not remember doing the double over us last year? Sherwood must be a tactical genius then yes??

New Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has set himself the goal of guiding Spurs to Premier League glory, once the club adopts a new 'philosophy on the pitch'.

The Argentine replaced Tim Sherwood in the Tottenham dugout back in May, and oversaw his first match in charge on Saturday night; a thrilling 3-3 draw with MLS leaders the Seattle Sounders.

Failure to secure consistent qualification for Champions League football has seen chairman Daniel Levy wield his managerial axe, with the likes of Martin Jol, Harry Redknapp and Andre Villas-Boas all losing their jobs as a result.

    ...

But despite high expectation from above, Pochettino is eyeing loftier heights, admitting that he hopes to, eventually, guide Tottenham to their first league title since 1961

"All managers want the best and want to be the best," Pochettino told The Sun. "I knew from the first day I came here that Spurs are a big club.

"My challenge is to win the Premier League... eventually. This is our goal, to win the title one day.

"Our target at the moment is to provide a team capable of creating our philosophy on the pitch. To develop and improve the style of football we want to play."

Tottenham are the only side not to have ventured into the transfer market, as Pochettino wishes to assess his squad before deciding on whether major changes are required.

“We have an unbelievable squad with some unbelievable players," Pochettino continued.

“We need to work to get the players ready to start the season playing with our philosophy.

“This is our only target at the moment. Afterwards we will see.

“Tottenham are expected to play well and win — results are important. And we will target a position later. But for the moment our aim is to get the squad playing the way we want.”

Spurs are expected to complete the signing of Swansea left back, Ben Davies, in the coming days, with the Wales international set to undergo a medical with the north London club.
