Been fairly average year. Average though is still pretty good by his standards.

    I don't either.

Being perfectly honest I'm not as gutted as I would have been a few seasons ago. He's shown us a lot of loyalty. I'm just afraid that if he leaves that'll open the door for others to do the same Sakho has 1 year left, so does Luka. AWB is good friends with Zaha. We could be looking at a mini exodus and it'll be out four best players. That's what I'll really be afraid of. I wouldn't trust the board to reinvest £150M at all.

in all seriousness his next move should be to a club like us, a club pushing for Europe but not quite top 6, a clear step up from Palace but with room to grow in a couple of years

Bit unlucky at Man U that he was signed by Fergie but had Moyes as manager who didn't rate him .

Will be more mature now as well .

Go and read the actual Zaha "interview" - it's more like an advertisement/eulogy to the living.

    Bizarre.

It's on the Daily Mail - I'm not linking to that.

We only need one person to go and read it and then paraphrase it here, take one for the team - :hanged

    How dare you?

Why do you leave spaces before your question marks?

Why would I have had to have linked to something to have read it?

So many questions raised by that one post.

I’ve said for a while that I don’t think he has the end product to play for one of the big clubs.

He normally has a little purple patch where he scores a load (think he got 5 in 5 in February as an example) but he’s still yet to get double figure league goals in a season and hasn’t even reached 5 assists in the last 2 years. When you consider how heavily Palace rely on him going forward it’s interesting that his stats aren’t overly impressive.

Ryan Fraser has 1 less goal & 9 more assists for example. Deulofeu has more end product this year despite playing less games... Zaha is a fantastic player but his lack of end product will stop one of the big clubs coming in for him, IMO.

He has the end product, it's his attitude that lets him down. Too easily wound up. All somebody has to do is take him out within the first minute and he's rattled for the rest of the game. He used to be the one that could change the game out of nothing. Now he only plays well when the team plays well, in fact some games this season he's been very poor even in wins and a few of us on here have said it. I do think he overhyped and escapes a lot of criticism because he's one of our own. He is the face of the club too so people are quick to label him our best player and to ignore anything poor. I reckon he'd improve at a big team, he's sort of hit the glass ceiling with us. Of course I'll be gutted if he goes as he's one of our own, but like I said previously I wouldn't be as annoyed as if lets say AWB left this summer. He also likes being the main man. He wont get that anywhere else. He'll just be another player. Best of luck to him if he moves on, what scares me more is trusting our scouts with £50-70M. 11 Jordan Ayew's will be signed.

May seem a mad shout but I would take Ayoze Perez as a back up for Firmino. Quality little player and reminds me of Bobby in some aspects of his game.

Been saying for a while, I think he would benefit greatly from a step up. He should be fighting for a spot in a top 5 side.

Still only 25 too entering his peak. I like his work rate more than anything think he would be a boss rotation option for us.

Perez was selected by many to be the worst player in the league a few months ago
