I think that was the whole point, pretty sure nobody knew who Guendouzi were before he joined Arsenal.

On other news, Zidane has threatened to walk after clashing with the board. Please walk...

€13-25m is not really in the 'nobody has a ****ing clue who they are' boat though, or has football really gone that mad ?

We're not as bad as United or Real Madrid!

Dalot only made 6 top flight appearances before United dropped nearly £20m on him.

Real Madrid spent €46m on Vinicius Junior off the back of half a season in Brazil!

True, but they both had a bit of hype about them didn't they? Junior was all over the papers.

It wasn't even half a season. Apparently, that deal was agreed just 10 days after his senior debut

There's hype because it's Real Madrid shelling out nearly €50m on a teenager  I didn't even know that they did the same again for Rodrygo Goes. They must have been really burnt by not getting Neymar

The club has already had to deal with one highly contentious issue this week regarding a player's participation, now another issue regarding which goalkeeper should play has just been exacerbated by this decision to leak the news about Cech being at Chelsea next season. Chelsea aren't ****ing stupid, they know full well the pressure now applied to Emery in the lead up to the final.

And I know Cech is incredibly professional and his integrity won't be an issue but it's theorized and will be discussed. How can you play in one of the biggest matches of Arsenal's recent history knowing that if they win, they regain some strength and stature in the transfer market and thus become a bigger opponent for you next season?

There can't not be a conflict of interest. It's that trail of thought that will dominate the lead up to the game and potentially destabilise preparations.

So like I said, Chelsea are snidey. Snidey ****s.

I wouldn't play Cech anyway. We owe him the square root of **** all. Leno is our #1 and will be for years to come yet. Play him instead of that over the hill mess.
