The form he was in it is debatable if he would have even scored. I was relieved when the penalty came.
Utterly awful game, didn't look confident in any aspect. And his end product was beyond poor. I imagine it would have ended up going straight at the keeper.

It was a sloppy game from him, but the rest of the team were also crap and lacked cohesion. He's still finding his way back in after injury, into a side that's lacking form. Yes, he had a shit game, but he won a pen and if he would have scored then nobody would be saying anything.

If you ignore the fact multiple people had agreed before the pen he was looking nothing short of awful.

He has the ability to be one of the highest regarded players in the league, we need to start seeing it on a consistent basis. It might seem harsh he gets the stick when others were just as poor. But that's because we expect more from a talent like Martial than you would for say Rojo. One is expected to serve up shit, the other not so much.

There's no problem saying he had a bad game, it's the typical overreaction where his whole personality is broken down and the sky is falling in. It was a bad game. Still, he won a pen and would've had a great chance to score had he not been brought down. Had that happened, none of you would be breaking down his mentality.

He's having his best season to date.

When you look at the kid on form, his dribbling is up there with the very best.
I genuinely think his close control is some of the best about.
He has a great range of shooting and passing ability on form.
He has the makings of a world beater.

Instead he is often struggling to establish himself as first choice in a United side devoid of talent.
He is better than he shows. That's why he gets pressure and question marks.
I think our fans know he is capable of more.

Bold claims, but I think he should be out-putting more than any other wide forward in the league.
He has the attributes of a player who should be competing for PotY.

He has just come back from injury. He's scored and won a pen in that time, coming back into a shit side. He is having his best season to date.

Anyway, this is hijacking the thread, so take it to PM or the United forum.

Also, what the **** is that paragraph composition all about?

My post refers to his whole season, not yesterdays game.

But you're right, this is stuff for the United forum.

I think Jurgen Klopp will go down as one of the greatest Premier League managers if Liverpool manage to win the league this season. To overcome this City team managed by the best manager in the game at the moment would be a phenomenal achievement, and I'd hate every second of it.

It would be an incredible achievement but I don’t think it would make him one of the greatest ever, that would be a high accolade for a manager that would have only one domestic trophy in the country if we win it.

    You disgust everyone.

In the eyes of the media he'll be called that anyway, because the bias is f*cking rampant

Klopp is a likeable bloke so I can see why the media have taken to him but it would still be too high of an accolade surely!?

Speaking of bias, Carra shouldn’t be allowed to co commentate on Liverpool games or be in the studio after.

    I don’t think it’s fair to a neutral.

At the end of the day it's just TV coverage, it's not like he's officiating or having an bearing on the match itself. I actually like seeing a bit of passion from pundits when talking about their own team (Shearer ranting about the Geordies is always good)

I suppose it’s just personal preference but as a Liverpool fan I love his passion but at the same time I could see why it could irritate a neutral.
