Nothing. I'm only 'avin a laugh mate!
Glad you two made up.
Me and Dave never really argued anyway tbh. It was just mainly a disagreement about something.
Only Watford and Palace ultra's argue and fall out jack.
Well,Watford run away.
Great video here for a scouse lad absolutely nails everything that's wrong with modern football
Only from a certain perspective, he doesn't sum up everything wrong in modern football, he doesn't mention FIFA, he doesn't mention agents, he doesn't mention why England has so many fewer qualified coaches compared to Germany and Spain, he doesn't mention any of that but he did speak well.
What he does appeal to is the romantic "working man's game" notion - which is fine, but you cannot have it both ways - they want to be a global club, and are proud of support from all over the world - but then moan when they travel to Liverpool and go to a game. What a load of bollocks that particular component it.
@FranniesTache I trust your opinion here because I didn't understand anything he said (only the occasional word)
I understand lads from everywhere wanting to watch United, no problem.
The angst is towards my football club that has alienated United support for years and years and tried thier best to force people out of the terraces who are the fabric of this football club. They have the support and "clients" they want, the megastore is full and hot dogs are selling at a record rate.
The only solace is its still United and Old Trafford will always be Old Trafford. Still plenty of good reds go (lots have left) but football fans are football fans and whether it be United or whoever, we always keep coming back. And if I have a son who else am I going to take to watch?
But football is shit and it's getting worse quick, but there will always be those keeping it going so it will never completely die.
Fair enough, mate. I can get that.
Why is football getting worse, though?
The lack of respect the modern football fan shows Titus Bramble.
That bollox that happened at Chelsea v Sunderland after 26 minutes
This isn't a f*cking Hollywood film !
Thank God for John Terry that he didn't wear the no.2 otherwise he could've gone right after the kick off
To substitute him before the end of the match is a sign of respect and to give him some extra applause for his last match and his career. But you're right after 26 minutes it's too soon (although a "symbol" to his shirt-number). Bayern Munich had done similar with Philipp Lahm on Saturday at his last match but he was substituted at the end of the match to give him standing ovations for his great career. Would they have done the same as Chelsea they would have to substitute him at the 21st minute. No footballer wants to go so soon in his last match
He organised it himself ffs so small time.
Half and half scarves.
They're the devil's work.
15 and 16 year old kids that are against modern football
