I'd like to say we'll be the closest challengers but I still thing the gap will be 6-9 points.
Neither do you going off that 25 point gap last season where Liverpool finished in 4th and had a point less than the season before...
Think Liverpool will close the gap, but Man United and Spurs get overlooked unfairly. If Sanchez can make an impact and Pogba starts to fulfil his potential, Liverpool are going to find it hard to get past them.
But United are in a potentially unstable situation in that I could easily see Mourinho losing it again like he did at Chelsea and if Pogba then starts to become a disruption they could suffer.
I think Monday's game with Liverpool will determine whether we have any chance of winning the league, or at least consolidating our top four position.
Glad I dropped £8 on us at 750/1 TBH.
When you look at the state of this match day squad & then realize that David Silva wasn't even in it, it's hard to see City being stopped. Depth tells over the course of the season, & they had a fit & rested Sane reduced to a cameo role yesterday ffs.
Mendy is like a new signing, he adds more attacking threat down the left & better balance. Bernardo Silva's been really impressive lately... They've got so much quality, I think if they avoid us in the CL, City can prove themselves to be the best team in the world.
That City squad looks like someone playing a computer game on cheat mode
Yeah, they have far too much depth to not retain the title. Think we'll battle out for 2nd place with Chelsea.
Think United will have a very ordinary season and the lack of signings will effect Spurs. Arsenal, I honestly see dropping further behind, their squad seems to look weaker with each passing season.
I said last summer that our squad wasn’t quite as good as people were making out - I felt we were at least a CB and full-back short, and maybe a 3rd striker. We’ve since added Laporte and Mahrez, and the likes of Zinchenko and Delph stepped up
to be more than useful members of the squad. Add Foden and Diaz into the mix and we are really, really strong in every position.
Quite ridiculous, really.
It’s our year
Must be pretty unbelievable for you mate, bet in the days of traipsing round league one you could never have imagined watching a squad like that being managed by one of the best managers in the world.
Enjoy it fella, because who knows when it'll end.
I know it was first game but Arsenal got into a number of dangerous positions yesterday that could have resulted in some good chances. Think City could be a little bit more vulnerable through the middle if they have Bernardo Silva in there. Still think they'll walk the league but probably 90-93 points this year.
Quite like the feeling of everyone thinking we are shit.
Manchester United Football Club
Mint, aren't we
Welcome to the club.
I picked Palace as my team to overachieve, have high hopes for the Croydon boys to turn a few heads this year
Ok now crawl out of Kirby’s arse and tell him what you really think.
You've always been an intelligent poster.
Does anyone think that?
Shit to watch, not shit results wise.
