Yeah me neither but it would be good. Would put you up a level imo. Wages must be sky high by now though!

Steven Davis to Rangers on loan for the remainder of the season is now official. His contract with us will expire in the summer where he'll be a free agent.

I genuinely hope Rangers win the title now as it would be really nice to see Davis lift it. Genuinely nice bloke and has been a good player for us. Was an absolute bargain.

    Good luck to him.

I think if he was still at Southampton, Celtic could possibly find a way to pay his wages.. given that he is at Spurs now, his wages would be astronomical.

I can't see it happening but Defoe was also on a fortune at Bournemouth.

Confirmed Deals for both old firm clubs.

Steven Davis on loan from Southampton
Jermaine Defoe on loan from Bournemouth
Pre Contract agreements for Jordan Jones and Glen Kamara

    - I don't particularly know much about Kamara, but Jones is a decent player.. Rangers quality though? Time will tell.
    - Davis - Buzzing for him coming back, the sort of player that we are needing.
    - Defoe - Again, buzzing, quality international striker that has scored many goals in the premier league.

Timothy Weah set to join Celtic on loan as well as Olly Burke

Tbh, i've not seen Weah play, so can't comment on him. As for Burke, the last i saw him play was for Scotland.. and i wasn't impressed. But he is young, this could be the opportunity he needs.

Yeah, i know. An 18 month loan deal sounds nuts given the expense of Defoe's wages. Unless there is a 40/60% or something.

I doubt you'll be paying much more than 25% tbh. I think Bournemouth might have needed to free up a squad place for Solanke and they would take anything to get him off the books.

Heard he's the highest paid player in Scottish football.

    If true you'd be looking at 30 - 35k a week.

    That looks likely tbh.

Wonder who was the highest paid beforehand? Any idea?

Scott Brown wouldn't be far away and on around 30k a week.

I knew Pena was on around 22k and Alves was 28k, obviously we don't have Alves anymore.. and Pena is still on our books.. we really need to get rid of that ****.

A lot of rumors flying about that the Weah deal can be extended by 12 months if PSG think he is developing well at Celtic.

Rumors that we are in discussions with a PL club over the transfer of two players.

There will be two or three round about that now since they signed extensions.

I think Ntcham will be on a fairly hefty wage.

Hopefully Weah can come in and make an impact.

He has been playing off the left when he got a chance for PSG and scored 2 goals in the 3 appearances he has had.

His pace should cause havoc and although only 18 he has played at a high enough level to be able to come into a Celtic side who dominate matches and do well.

Hopefully Bayo announced tomorrow and we really just need to get a CB and RB in and it will be a very good window.

Tim Weah is a done deal and just confirmed by the club

Now get Bayo and a right back done and i'll be happy.

On the centre back issue i'd rather sell Boyata now and replace him but if it doesn't happen we'l just have to deal with that.

Agree, a lot have got him down as a striker, I think he'll be used wide left where Sinclair has been playing.

Can cover as a striker also though as can Burke. . . .one things for sure we won't be going into any games again without a striker.
