Never seen the attraction in him but if it's true he'd be crazy not to.

We are now being linked with American left back Andrew Gutman the player Rangers had on trial and have offered a deal to.. . .don't know if there is any truth in it or if he's trying to start a bidding war or if it's one of their PR games.

    Bayo in.

CELTIC are delighted to announce the signing of Vakoun Issouf Bayo, who has joined the club on a four-year deal from Slovakian side, Dunajská Streda. The deal is subject to a work permit and a medical.

The 21-year-old Ivory Coast forward joined Dunajská Streda in March last year, having previously spent two years playing in Tunisia.

And the highly-rated striker has been in exceptional form since moving to Slovakia, scoring 18 goals in 23 games this season, as well as seven assists, helping his team into second place in the top division.

Now, Vakoun will be targeting goals in the green and white Hoops. Everyone at the club welcomes him to Celtic and wishes him every success here.

A RB and CB and I will fly to Baku without the need for transport.

The centre back problem obviously needs to be addressed but the biggest issue is right back for me now.

Unless of course Boyata goes this window.

3 projects, 2 of which aren't ours, is not what I was hoping for tbh.

As long as we strengthen at the back bringing players in like that is fine. . No point spending a fortune on a striker when we have Eddy and Griff to come bcak in.

Supposedly Hibs have also made an offer for Morgan.

Surprised there hasnt been any outgoings as our squad is bulging with dead weight.

Time will tell but we simply should not be going for projects in this window. We are in a title race for the first time in ages, with 3 teams all close to us, and we should be flexing our muscles.

As for Morgan, I said this last year. Why did we not only bring him in, but pay money for his as well when his contract was due up. Strange deal all round that one. I don't think he's been that bad btw but we clearly don't fancy him so why was he signed?

He won't be a project if he comes in and scores goals, it's all down to ability.

Morelos is only a year older than Bayo and he is scoring for fun here.

I do agree that we should be looking at bringing in one or two guys who are more experienced though.

Jeffrey Bruma (ex Chelsea) is a name doing the rounds online just now. He's a centre half and I'd be surprised if we went in for him.

He is exactly the type I want us to go for.

Only problem seems to be that he is injury prone.

Would like to know why he's not played at all this season.

Rumours abound that we've signed Andrew Guttman the American left back Rangers had on trial last week and offered a contract to.

I’m told Scottish giant Celtic has completed the signing of Indiana University standout and Hermann Award winner Andrew Gutman. That’s a big blow for the Chicago Fire, which had offered the left back a sizable homegrown player contract.

Andrew Gutman signed according to American media and Perez won't be far behind him.

A RB and LB, I think these two will be put into the development squad or loaned out in Scotland for six months and see how they do.

Gutman rejected an offer from Rangers in December according to his agent and many Rangers people at the time but now they are taking the stance of we signed a trialist they didn't want.

It will be interesting to see how the Scottish Media spin this.
