Was he at Bayern in any capacity back in 81 was it? When Howard Gayle put us through Zip?

Ah, just checked, he was at Monchengladbach in 1977 and played in the Rome final.

Klopp would love to get the one over on Bayern.

Yes he played for Gladbach in that famous side with Vogts, Netzer, Bonhof, Simonsen etc Brian. Also played for Hannover, altogether 243 Bundesliga goals, he is still the third all time Bl top scorer.
He is simply saying that in his opinion that if we reach the final he would rather play Liverpool than Roma because it would be two european legends facing each other.

Tbf there is no bad blood between Klopp and Bayern other than the BVB - FCB rivalry, the Bayern - Dortmund spats during his time there were between the various boards not the trainers.

...and Kloppo would be going for number 6 too in that final (losing his 6th final in a row). :D

So, this match has 6-6-6 written all over it, 666 the number of the beast..... wait, I am searching

or nothing of this happens and we'll have a Real vs Roma final :roflmao

The number of the beast is 616 actually. ;)

We've got to get to the final first in order to lose it! :D

Tell this Bruce Dickinson and not me, mate. Maybe he'll change the lyrics of the song ;)

Jupp scored 220 goals in the Bundesliga (in 369 matches) ;). 3rd all time behind Gerd Müller (of course) with 365 and Klaus Fischer with 268.

A rather ridiculous statement given that A - They don't know that I'm there B - They wouldn't know who I am even if they did, and C - They are pissed up from dawn till dusk so aren't capable of coherent thought in anycase.

Not sure many stag parties are held in Vilnius or Tallinn, to be fair.

After the terrible referee last season v UEFA Madrid I'm hoping for a better one this time. Offside goals from Ronaldo, Vidal sent off for two fouls while Casimiro was allowed to kick us from pillar to post for 90 minutes without even getting a booking. Even Kicker called the ref a disgrace and they are normally very conservative in their criticism .

Not having Lewa the 1st leg I thought was the biggest reason

Can't say I am looking forward to our game against Roma tomorrow. They appear to be a rather brutal & cynical side that may well upset our style, & for that reason I think we will need some strong & most importantly impartial (incorruptible) officials.

Should be a mental atmosphere though

You will need to score as many goals as you can tomorrow. With the pitch being so narrow at the Olimpico, it will be hard for Liverpool to get through Roma's tight set up.

Are the scousers trying the intimidation game with Roma :confused

I would suggest they don't as I don't think the Italians will take it as well as city.
