That's a horrific decision.
That decision sums this ref up. Laughable.
What is actually the point of VAR?
Absolute joke that
How didn’t even go to a review ??
Absolute f**king joke, never a penalty and another kick in the bollocks for VAR. The referee f**ks up but it can't be overruled? Makes sense.
Thanks ref, you useless cnut.
Well that’s a load of shit .
Unlucky on Adrian to concede that and to concede any this game tbh.
In his defence at full speed I thought it was initially a penalty. Robertson has swung a leg and there is contact after the dive so I can see how it was initially given.
With the benefit of a replay / VAR that has to be overturned. In the ref's defence he needs the decision to be given by the VAR team.
I don't think you can fault the ref there.
Was a pen all day long
Aye up, Liverpool concede and the usual suspects turn up.
If you think that was a pen you are ****ing clueless
He’s being bullied by them all night and as soon as that player went to ground he was always going to give it. Useless.
Robertson sticks out a leg, callejon goes over his knee, penalty.
They don't, it's about getting exactly the reaction you've just given them.
Had enough of hearing this "clear and obvious error by the referee" crap.
If there is zero contact, then it is not a foul and so it is not a penalty. Plain and simple, whether it is obvious to the shithouse ref or not. VAR is there to do what the ref can't and if it doesn't then it should be binned.
Schindler is a terrible wum but gets me every time
But even by that definition it should have been overturned. It was a clear and obvious error. Unfortunately, it's about avoiding the situation where the referee is made to look a dick for giving the decision, and sod the good of the game and whether a team justifies conceding a goal and potentially losing a game.
