How did you guys replace Eden Hazard again?
Early start for us tonight (5:55pm UK) which means rushing home from work for kickoff.
Sounds like we're going to rotate quite a bit and play a weaker team than our best 11. Hopefully doesn't backfire, we were fortunate to get out of the groups last year after a poor start.
With youth players who’ve scored 11 goals in 5 games
Playing a weakened team in the Champions League is mental. Fergie done it in his later years and it backfired quite a bit.
And Ajax have yet to lose a game in any competition this season so far
Either way, if your point is that they'll be worse than last season solely because they lost de Ligt and de Jong (even though I doubt you'd ever heard of them before the CL quarters) then you have to also recognise the same for Chelsea - who now also have a lesser manager at the club.
Good luck against Standard Liege and Guimares!
Well, that was unexpectable.
Lots of things can be said about the penalty and the stupid referee, but, yesteday, we didn't see the Liverpool we know, the Liverpool we love.
It's just a group stage game though. And with Genk and Salzburg being the other 2 team, qualifying is inevitable...
Let's go for NO7!
Didn't you like my motivational speach?
You support AEK don’t you? And Walsall obviously..
@The only Greek here are you a Liverpool fan now?
Are you joking? I've supported this great club since around May. They have something different than any other club, they are special!
Still follow and love AEK Athens though.
