Added irony for having posted more in this thread than anyone.

Nice of you to let us know every matchday / season how little you care.

Job done, its not just CL at the moment, its league games as well.

    Not caring while caring.

  3. Find me in your match threads when you win or lose. It'll be rare. I care about crimes to human decency and financial doping, your club is just the name above that door endorsing it.

Nice goal for Shaktar. Empty stadiums are just so weird though.

Am I the only who thought United didn't play a back 3 at any point in the game last night? Looked like a diamond 442 to me even if Shaw didn't go forward very often. Telles certainly didn't look like being the wing-back but more on the left side of a midfield 3 with Fernandes in the hole. I second the Tuanzebe comment btw, monstrous performance by him. Lad should be the first name on Ole's teamsheet if you ask me.

Anyway, about the game, I struggle to think of a time where we played as bad as we did in the first half last night. The flat midfield 3 was ineffective and United had almost nothing to do (bit of a miracle that De Gea saved Kurzawa's short-range flick though). Tuchel (who looks like he couldn't care less) switched to 4231 in the second half and things were livelier. Martial gave us the goal which was very nice of him but after that we went back to being shit. Players look like they don't want to play for a couple of months as expected. It was always going to be difficult to bounce back from that CL final defeat which is why I'm not expecting us to do anything at all. Not saying we'll bow out in the group stages (well, we could you know) but we won't get very far. Top spot is already a massive ask after last night's defeat.

Elsewhere, Rennes got a draw 1-1 v Krasnodar. Didn't watch it but heard they put more of a performance than us. Good for them but I can't see them getting out of their group unfortunately.

It's like he's always trying to play Martial in rather than going on himself. As you say all is forgiven after he scored such a cracking winner.

Liverpool shouldn't have any problems tonight. Ajax a shadow of the side that got to the semis a couple of years back.

    This is nightmarish so far.

No confidence, playing with no purpose or zip at all.
