Why would they? They aren't obliged to attack to begin with, they'll keep it tight and look to nick a goal at some point. Simeone is no mug, he'll do everything in his power to make sure Atletico do not concede at home. In fact, in the last 3 and bit seasons of knockout football, Atletico have conceded ONCE at home. Crazy record.

However, it will be intriguing to see how Atletico deal with a team pretty similar to themselves in Leicester.

Bayern/Real will be epic, Juventus/Barcelona will be fascinating and Dortmund/Monaco will be bat shit crazy. It's a cracking draw all round.

Haha that Dortmund v Monaco game is going to be nuts - what we reckon, 20 goals over two legs? :D

Have a bet on Juve to win it this year, and fairly happy with the Barca draw.

You really think their fans will be happy if they don't come at us at their ground?

Atleti aren't exactly Karanka's Boro. They just went away to Leverkusen and scored 4. They defend in packs against the top teams but they are more open this season and looking to take the game to teams.

Atletico don't really sit back like they used to. It's a big reason why they are 4th in la liga. They have at times been too attacking.

They've put up with it since he took over. They've made 2 finals playing that way, I think they'd be fine with it. Like I said, they've conceded just one goal at home over the last 3 years.

And not just that, it makes sense to be cautious if you're at home in the first leg. Obviously you want to win but a 0-0 isn't disastrous.

I was too young. I remember us getting ****ed over by the ref and not long after their owner was done for corruption.

Yes I was sat Filbert Street, great occasion, great atmosphere 2-1 on away leg in Madrid. We were the better team first half, the ref was shocking. Given the corrupt nature of Gill the Athletico owner at the time, it makes me wonder what was behind that incredibly atrocious refereeing performance!

Borussia ;) ( it's latin for Preu├čen (Prussia) the former german kingdom.)

Hopefully Borussia will get a 2 goal lead (although even this isn't a guarantee that they' ll advance against Monaco as ManCity has shown in the last round
