As you may or may not be aware, all Champions League clubs are automatically entered into the UEFA Youth League. An U19 version of the Champions League with the group stages mapping to the Champions League exactly, with all fixtures played in the afternoon before the main game in the evening.

Spurs are therefore playing their first game today, at home to Dortmund. We've named a very strong team and are 3-0 up at half time :eeek Very promising stuff against a club like Dortmund.

    Other notable scores so far:

    Feyenoord 0-2 Man City
    Man Utd 4-3 Basel
    Chelsea 5-0 Qarabag
    Barca 1-0 Juventus
    Celtic 2-3 PSG

Always an interesting competition to follow.

Yep our u19s play at 5pm after Spurs on BT sport 1.

Ben Woodburn starts and Gerrard is manager.

Marcus Edwards absolutely tearing it up. 4-0 now and he's just scored a wonderful solo goal.

Been talking about him for a few years on here, but I think the time is finally here where his impact may start to be seen in the senior team. He's ready.

    City v Feyenoord?

    Encouraging result for Spurs though.

If we were at home to Dortmund, how were we 2-0 up against Feyenoord?

We battered Sevilla four nil. Ben Woodburn played but he clearly is so far above that level it's nuts. Should've probably started yesterday but I get why Klopp would take him out of the limelight. We have a very good player in Tagseth too, only 16 years old and signed for a big fee as a 14 year old, the kid is going to be some player for a club. Hopefully that club is us.

Brewster played too, he's so far outgrown the u19 game it's silly, waste of time him playing below u23 level.

Both less experienced than Edward's but none of them can really gain too much at this level by the looks of it.
