it seems we've nabbed the Kenyan Vieira - who last summer we were being linked with for £20M+. we snapped him up for a sweet 11M it seems. but who will he replace? we will he just be a squad player. either way it looks a very solid signing.

    happy with this signing?

He never seems to be happy in one place for too long that one. Think he's more motivated by money but he is a good player.

I suspect he'll be used as rotation for Dier, or alongside him when we choose to play with two in front of the back four, giving Alli and Eriksen a bit more freedom moving forward. I think it's a shrewd signing to be honest.

    Everyone loves money.
He's taken a step forward when given the opportunity after spending 2-3 years at a club (Beerschot => Celtic => Southampton => Spurs).
Natural progression, and most likely he's reached his peak club now as I doubt he'll interest the Real Madrids of the world.
Should be a solid improvement on depth at Spurs, we've been light weight when Dier or Dembele are out. With Wanyama we won't be easy push overs. Enough games to go around here.

and eventually it's official. Wanyama has signed for the club.

Hopefully does well. Not sure he'll start with Dier and Dembele fully fit and free of suspension though.
