20th versus 7th as it stands.

With Watford 7 points from safety (and with a shocking goal difference) it's fair to say they have to win this, particularly with Liverpool (a), Man United (h) and Sheffield United (a) to follow.

We've been decimated at the back but we should be able to put some sort of reasonable defence together due to our strength in depth in that area. Thankfully we're blessed with five decent CBs.

Praying Gary Cahill is back, but if not we could see Chiekhou Kouyate at centre-half again. He plays there for his country and did really well there against Bournemouth last night.

    Guaita
    Kelly Tomkins Cahill Schlupp
    Milivojevic McArthur
    Townsend Kouyate Zaha
    Ayew

If Kouyate's in defence then James McCarthy should come into midfield.

With two wins on the bounce and a good run of fixtures coming up the pressure's off us a bit, so hopefully we can relax and play our best football. No need to get mixed up in any of the usual Zaha/Wasp pantomime on this occasion, although I'm sure he'll enjoy the special attention as always.

Are Watford likely to have a permanent manager in place by Saturday? Not that it really matters, but I suppose that could give the place a bit of a lift.

I'll be watching from a pub in the city.

    COYP

Yeah i'd certainly take that, we're desperate for the points at the minute.

Bad feeling about this game. Watford always seem to turn it on against us since the cup semi final.

After last season it'd be nice to fkn turn up v them for once. How we lost the SP game I'll never quite get with the chances we had. Still, it's a good time to play them and I think Roy will have a bit of a go. We were outplaying Bournemouth before the red so I don't see why we can't take the game to Watford (within reason)

the Ghanaian Roberto Carlos to get the winner again I think, 0-1 us

couldn't get a ticket for this game because of the ridiculous tier structure.

so i'm going with mate to Cambridge vs Plymouth.

hopefully we can carry on the form get an early goal and Watford heads will drop.

Let me know if you ever need tickets. I have a decent amount of points but don't get to as many away games these days.

(Definitely doing Brighton and Leicester but that's probably it)

Genuinely falling out of love with the game. At my age with a young family, I really don’t need the stress of watching us, let alone posting about us on here.

I still post on the Fifa forums, my only genuine football enjoyment at the minute (says a lot about Watford given how broken that game is!).

We’ll lose this. I’ll hold my hands up and admit that Roy has done a phenomenal job at Palace with what he has at his disposal. Fair play

Unfortunate timing with your current form.

All the best with your future endeavours.
