As one of the more considered, fair, balanced posters on here I feel that it’s incumbent upon me to share our latest accounts with you all.

Read it and weep (or revel depending on your persuasion)

37.5mil loss, 202% wages to turnover ratio, 73mil owing to BSH and 39.1mil needed for the next 18 months :(

Norwich were in a similar position 18 months ago and we're a far better team now than we were then. It's not all bad.

I hope you have a get out of jail free card like James Maddison you can sell for 8x what you bought him for.

A huge amount of our wage spend is on players that don't even play for us. Matt Jarvis, Steven Naismith, Nelson Oliveira, Ivo Pinto and Yannic Wildschut are some of our highest earners, thank God most of them are out of contract in the summer.

Sums up the crazy world of modern football - clubs putting themselves at risk with the wages they are paying.

I suppose they call it living the dream but our dream turned into a nightmare. Our owner now is an astute businessman who won't live beyond our means. Yet we have fans on forums & social media wanting him to invest heavily in the promotion push. When we went into administration it wasn't just big businesses that were effected local shops & St Johns ambulance were hit.

I don't get how Birmingham are in this situation though?
They've been seemingly without money for the past few years, being tight with transfers other than Jota. I know Redknapp spent a bit, but I assumed some of those players would be sold to retain some profit.

I think the wages they are paying doesn't help...

40k a week to Jota is crazy.

Will be interesting to watch from afar, guess we have sell on clauses for Dean, Colin & Jota

I didn't know he was on that much, perhaps their other players are on stuff like £25k p/w then if that is the case?

It just seems crazy to me, Birmingham have known their situation for a while now. With Carson Yeung there was no money to spend, so how did this happen?

    ‘Arry guaranteed promotion.

Still, he saw Prince Harry at the physio once and loves his wife so it’s fine.

Wages were insane. They signed the Brighton number one who'd just been promoted. What other reason was there to stay in the Championship?
