I was looking forward to watching the game but had to give it a miss. But i dont reckon i'm missing much - harrogate may win the final but i cant see them ripping up that plastic pitch of theirs in the 40 days they have to do so

Haha. Poor chaps! But sadly i cant pass on your msg as i havent been on there since friday morning.

Thing is that i (and a few other chaps )can only access the site through a vpn and i see no reason why i should do that. Its a matter of principle afaic - i mean a vpn just to check out a footy forum? Like really?

Will Harrogate get the pitch done in time? I saw a rumour on Twitter they might be sharing the Keepmoat with Donny for the first month or two...

Apparently they need 10 weeks minimum for the pitch to be ready so the EFL have agreed that they can ground share for the first couple of weeks. I think they definitely have a deal lined up with Doncaster.

I was hoping to make them my 100th ground last season for the Barrow match. Now I'm hoping that the U's won't be visiting until things have settled down enough to allow away fans a day out.

Haven't York got a new ground for next season, can't they go there, bit closer than Doncaster.

The way things are going we'll be lucky to see a season at all but hopefully we'll get to see something. If away fans were banned I was planning on going in home ends of places like Harrogate.

The Keepmoat is twice as big as York's new stadium, which should make social distancing easier if fans are coming in. Doncaster probably have a viable plan for that whilst York City and the Knights rugby support would probably be rattling around in their 8,000 seater and not be geared up for the likes of Southend's hordes or the Amber Army.

I also have my doubts about how many games I'll get to in the coming season. I'd expect us to fill any away allocation (850?) and be in the home end anyway under normal circumstances.
