Top of the league and looking a good side.

Dave Challinor is working wonders with us. Most NL points in the year 2020. Not getting too excited as we've only played three lesser sides but the manner of the wins has been very pleasing. There's a resilience and organisation about us we've had not had for many years and we also play some nice football.

There's not a better midfield three in the league than Nicky Featherstone, Mark Shelton & Gav Holohan. They are all a class act.

    Tougher games coming up mind.

That's good to hear - I may yet get to visit your ground for a L2 fixture sometime in the next couple of years then.

Obviously I don't know about the National League sides as much as you do but I think 3 points at Chesterfield is a very good result. But then again, are the Spireites fancied to do well this year? I see the majority of fans are predicting the usual suspects to be up there or thereabouts -Notts, Yeovil, Wrexham et al. What do you reckon Soup?

Fingers crossed you beat Bromley tonight. Good luck.

Cheers Vanni, always knew you were on our side!

Chesterfield have kept most of their squad from last season who were utter dog turd.

Stockport, Notts, Boreham Wood are three big challengers IMO.

As for us, well we should've murdered Bromley Tuesday night. We create so many chances but we really lack a finisher. 0-0, but last season we'd lose that game all day long.

It really is good to see such a positive and dynamic Pools side - it's built on younger players who have a point to prove plus getting the best out of our experienced players.

I don't want to make any predictions as it's too early but the signs are promising.
