from a personal perspective i don't want millwall up as i love it as an away day, but it'd be funny to see Millwall at the Olympic Stadium and the Spurs ground (the MET might not agree though)

Absolutely. Couldn’t agree with you more on all that.

You/we have come a long way since the saint/muff debate we had.

And plunged the club into half a billion pounds worth of debt? Paying the debt off with the club's money. Exactly the same:laugh:

I did actually, yeah. I haven't been sitting here dwelling on it for 3 years.

Don't see why it should make Wolves vs Watford a 'tasty' fixture unless you happen to know the bloke personally?

Hopefully not but suspect it will be brought up and sadly we all have idiots who might look for revenge.

Neither have I, or indeed anyone else at Watofrd or Wolves.

That’s not the point though. How often do you come acrosss supporters getting comatosed at a footy game? It does stick.

As for knowing the guy personally, the whole incident was a significant backdrop to our push for automatic and I think most watford fans felt a sense of doing it for Nic. Even a Wolves fan was massively behind a campaign to raise money for him.

Whether you and I think it should be “tasty” or not, it will. Especially from our point of view. it will certainly be one of the first fixtures I’ll look out for.

Anyways, back for 2 minutes and you’ve already pissed me off

Why have I pissed you off? Because I said I forgot about one of your fans getting beaten up? Two of our fans were hospitalised by Bristol City fans right ourside the pub I was drinking in last season, it wouldn't piss me off if one of their fans couldn't remember their names.

Again, you are being completely dismissive of the attention and news it got at the time.

Getting into a fight in a pub and almost getting killed after leaving a game are abit different.

The other wolves lad on here remembered his name.. funny that..maybe you are a bit special...

Congrats to Wolves, brilliant ground and supporters despite that particular stand where its almost impossible to get a good view!.

See you next season, best team by far in the division.

Looking forward to watching Wolves next season. I'd say they're the best team i've seen at that level. Reading and Sunderland will just beat them for points totals but the division is tougher than 10 years ago with all the money sloshing around and a lot of different playing styles.

Always thought our ex player Connor Coady would make a good Championship player at least. Next season is his chance in the Prem, which he's earned.

Not sure that was a debate, you said something wrong and every saints fan disagreed with you, you carried on, we kept telling you you were wrong, everyone got bored and gave up.

To be fair the worst piece of football violence i've ever seen was wolves fans, after our game against them in the cup (can't remember which year) it kicked off massively outside my mates house on the northam estate and one of the people involved (no idea which side) got a paving slab smashed against his head, there was massive amounts of blood and very concerned ambulance crews, never found out if the lad was alright but i really hope so.

F*cking cowards the lot who do that, and thinking it's ok to do that to someone is beyond cowardly, it's f*cking sociopathic. I hope whichever one it was, wolves or saints, served a long f*cking spell as in my eyes that's attempted murder

Slipped my mind to be fair.

Although the likes of De Laet, Dyer, Moore and Konchesky were regulars in that side and Nugent top scorer.

Much of the same team were bottom for a lot of the next Premier League season (unluckily tbf). It was a good Championship side and then obviously Huth, Kante etc added later.
