Same old small time Small Heath.
It’s the little things I love most about Xmas.
Like the championship league table, one can’t help but look at it and think
Merry Christmas Coldhands.
Don't hurt your neck too much looking up at us over this festive period.
This is the sort of thread that come May will provide some mild amusement.
Enjoy the open top bus parade.
You may be right.
After all the 26th of May this year certainly provided us with much amusement
Happy to help.
Sure they’ll end up laughing in the long run but f*ck it
Providing meaning to your empty lives.
Your existence is parasitic to us. You even talk about us at half time with your stadium announcer and guest. No Villa, no SHA.
Sitting on the train coming back from West Ham and I read an article I can barely believe.
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, booing ‘one of yer own’
‘Supporters booed at half-time and on the final whistle - and also jeered Smith’s decision to replace Callum O’Hare with Jonathan Kodjia’
‘It’s now just one win for Villa in their last seven outings in all competitions.’
****in love it
Aston Villa 0 Swansea City 3: report and pictures
If only they’d had a decent referee.
It's well known that an unusually large proportion of our fans are clueless morons. But then, at least not all of our fans are, unlike them from across the city.
I don't know why a qpr fan is so obsessed with Villa.
I can understand the other midlands teams fans, but i don't know why you always seem to comment about them from the outside looking in.
“Obsessed” and “always” are a bit of an exaggeration.
I don’t care much for the football club having lived in Birmingham. I find the staff and fans exceptionally arrogant considering their position and recent history and they employ John Terry, who last time I checked is a ****.
Edit- obviously not all the fans. That was a generalisation.
Do you think there is a toxic culture behind the scenes at Villa with Dr Xia in charge? There's been 3 managers now who have been well-backed financially but it seems a bit of a pressure cooker environment with very demanding fans too.
I'm not saying Smith will fail and he may turn it round, but so far Xia has spent an awful lot with no return.
I don't really like Villa myself but you could say fans of London teams are arrogant tbh, especially the likes of Tottenham and West ham who have won even less than Villa iirc.
I think certain teams fanbases are naturally arrogant, and that includes a lot of the London clubs and the Villa. For instance, Spurs I find are massively arrogant - but I've met a few West Ham fans and even sat in their end when West Brom played them - and I think their fans were very down to earth.
Xia's not in charge anymore mate, we were taken over again in the summer, which is why we're not in admin about now. We're under new ownership and new management for the 2nd time in 3 seasons, patience is required, but not forthcoming unfortunately. Plus Smith has spent sod all yet other than the Kalinic signing.
Reckon he will be getting some more of his players for big money... he does have famous long runs without victory or maybe that might just be us.
Walsall fans warned us of this when he came to us, but I don't think it's a unique Smith thing.
