    Mid day Sunday.

Still unsure what our best side is. Not sure what the situation is at left back with Gibbs & Townsend missing games recently.

In the build up to this, we're set to sign 18 year old cb Saul shotton who was at bury ?

Also appointed Richard Stevens as new academy manager from Coventry.

7 more days won't be enough time for Cowley to sort all the issues which are holding us back at the moment. Little signs of recovery will do even in defeat

I think that we won’t score and you will score so we’ll win and you will lose and yes yeh.

Hegazi and Gibbs back in training today. Not sure Id bring Gibbs straight back in, furlong has done a job at Right back and ferguson has impressed in both full back roles.
Great news about hegazi, will no doubt improve us, straight in for bartley for me who has been better this season though.
Hopefully we can score the first goal For once ..failed to do it so far which is shocking really, great that we're unbeaten though but that won't last long if we keep going 1-0 behind

I'd take the scrappiest, most boring 1-0 snatch and grab right now.

How bad has Elphick been? Shame to see really, lost his way when he left us, think Villa in hindsight was the total opposite of the move he needed.

Really poor unfortunately. But anyone would be when they have Flo next to them.

Danny Simpson has been training with us this week, praying we offer him a contract.

He is terrible. Legs have gone and doesn't seem to have the ability to read a game to make up for it. He can't head it in the correct direction either, proper 50p head

Great so far. I didn't expect much for the price and in all honesty I didn't know much about him. But honestly he's been good in both defence and attack, there's not much bad to say about him really.

Still, it's early days. I've seen it before with Zuiverloon at right back who looked great for a period after joining but quickly faded into obscurity.

Whenever I see highlights of him he just looks like he's constantly putting in what would have been his worst performances for us.

There's no denying in hindsight that he benefited from playing with 3 PL standard players in Daniels, Francis and Cook. I do think though, and even though this may sound ridiculous, if you can fill the defence with more technically gifted players than him, he is then a real asset. A proper leader and winner.

If it makes you feel better, he's never had legs and started badly with us too. At least it can only get better!

Impressive. Never heard of a double amputee being a professional footballer.

Judging by their comments a double amputation couldn't make him worse at least

It's becoming increasingly difficult to remain optimistic and the only thing I'm holding on to is - We don't really look like a relegation side just yet.:hmmm

There's still hope that the Cowley's are able to create a minor miracle and turn us round. However, right now we look disjointed, disorientated and lacking in confidence, although there were spells against Wednesday last week when we saw glimpses that we just might recover from this. It's times like this we have to stick together and weather the storm.

No doubt Sunday's match will be another test of our ability to adjust to Championship football, which is surprisingly difficult and we've failed miserably to do so far! However, onward and upward at West Brom.

So keeping a side worth £70 million up in the second tier is considered a miracle now?

I think you will be fine with the Cowleys in charge and they were my main pick to manage us in the summer - having seen them speak I think you're in safe hands. Hopefully we can still beat you as it's early days so hopefully their influence won't have kicked in just yet.

It's about £100Million actually, but when a Bristol City fan start the old wind up routine you know things are pretty bad. :D

    Zuiverloon ...

Didn't he get linked with united afternoon a few games ? He was Great going forward but a clown defending.

I think tomorrow will be tricky, they've jusy got relegated from the Prem ffs...surely have a good team still and will win games sooner than later
