most fun I've had since binding of isaac. i haven't even got particularly far and it's still in development but I highly recommend it.

edit: well I was closer to the end than I thought. still very much a work in progress. there's endless mode to compensate, but yeah that's a disappointment.

After a couple on here recommended it I tried PUBG.
Good premise and although rather uneventful for 90% of each game it's surprisingly entertaining.

Dropped to the school and had a one vs three punch up that I somehow came out on top of, punched a guy with a shot gun to death and took his stuff, survived on next to no health when shot at only to turn and spray the guy down with the Uzi, met with my group as we ****ed up the landing, and after all that we died to the first blue zone as there was no vehicle

Not got a chicken dinner yet, I think you have to hang on around the edges of you want to win but I find that a bit tedious. I can only get top 10 by playing central in the circles but the action is much better.

Richard and Alice, nice little 2D "in the snow bound world" adventure game.

    I like it so far.

pls report back when completed. have wishlisted it for now. I have so much backlog that I'm unlikely to get round to it unless it's a modern classic tho.

    edit: corrected omission of pls.

How do you like your endings, moderately depressing or seriously depressing because the game has them all!

It's short as well, got all 5 endings in 6 hours.

Is to the moon linked to a boy and his bird- as I've finished that, was also pretty sad.

From a playthrough it felt more like a standalone game. I've got To the Moon, I may play it after I finish The Deed.

    I recalled it incorrectly
no idea if a bird story is part of the same continuity at all.

anyway just finished steamworld dig (which I think is available free on origin at the moment)

it's a bit shorter and a bit simpler than it could have been but it's a decent little time waster.

RDR was never released on PC and as of yet R* have made no mention of a PC version.

I treasure my PS1, PS2, too. And of course the PS3 but not only because of RDR. Actually I have some problems with the Blu-Ray drive of my PS3. It starts the game only after several attempts (and when the PS3 has warmed up). When first starting the game it makes an "eject" attempt and tries to read the disc several times with no luck. I manually eject and start again for 3-4 times then it works. Seems I have to open the PS3 and clean the lens of the blu ray drive. Just watched a yt video about it.

Anyway, back to topic: I can't wait for RDR2. Actually I am still playing Horizon Zero Dawn and want to make it 100% but I still fail at some of these hunting tryouts where you have to get these "Glut-sonnen" (sorry I am lacking the correct english word for it).

And from Tuesday on I'll play Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain. It will be one of the October PS Plus games and I haven't played it yet, so it will be done then...

I had similar issues with my PS3 and weirdly enough an HDD format fixed it. You'd have to put the game in 5 or 6 times before it would finally read it until eventually it just flat out stopped reading Blu Rays at all. Still played DVD's fine, so I naturally assumed it must be the blue laser diode if the red DVD diode was still running fine but cleaning it didn't help.

Eventually gave up and chose the last resort option (I phoned Sony) they recommended formatting it and lo and behold fixed it.
