Killer track from the majestic new album from Volbeat:
@Villa Rocker - not sure if you're into these mate but a killer riff and melody to solve all problems
Volbeat? They used to tour with Metallica.
Currently listening to Pink - Floyd Is There Anybody Out There? The Wall Live 1980–81
Not my cup of tea mate.
It's Sombrero Day for the Amber Army at Colchester so
Well, that's my career as a DJ over then.
Stiff Little Fingers - Inflammable Material , still fresh 40 years on .
Bill Callahan really impresses me. The instrumentation and the vibe to his songs is usually perfect to a tee. Great haunting voice.
Tried a bit of old school hippy vinyl (Country Joe McDonald and Stones - Their Satanic Majesties Request) leading up to another effort to get into later Pink Floyd - inspired by FF Top 10.
Country Joe was great but the rest failed miserably and now i'm comforting myself with
I Wanna Be Adored
One of the very best punk albums.
Along with this one...
How good is The Bends? Got to be Radiohead’s finest work and still sounds rockin’ and fresh today..
However, I’m currently listening to a best of by Son Volt. It’s rather lovely so it is..
Was more of a GBH , Discharge or Exploited fan when 2nd wave of Punk ( early 80's ) kicked in , then the Two Tone & Oi scene sprang up , all quality stuff !
Pneuma is the one I'm playing to death at the moment.
Yeah they've smashed it yet again, the only songs that I'm not that keen on so far is Culling Voices (it takes too long to get going imo) and CCT.
It's a very good album - I don't think it touches Aenima or Lateralus and I hold Undertow in very high esteem so that's hard to beat but it's much better than 10,000 Days.
Well they're all hard 5 out of 5s, but 10k days is their second best album imo, but after a few more spins of Fear I think Fear will be my second favourite.
