True, he wasnt playing his usual all out action man and was very good. I hadnt seen it in years and forgot it was pretty much the cast from Goodfellas and the Sopranos in one movie.

After the 34th or 35th film over 5 years it requires a cooling period where fans can forget they've actually been watching the same film 34 or 35 times. A year off and it'll all seem brand new.

    Hotel Mumbai - 8/10

A harrowing true story and the terrorists were truly ruthless, but a very, very good watch.

Remember watching that unfold live. Something eerie about someone just mowing down crowds of people with an automatic weapon. Seems more personal than when a bomb goes off.

    Jaws 2.

Not a great one to watch but then again anything after Jaws was never going to be as good.

The girl who is a woman in her fifties now, retold her story just the other year, and yep its bad. Anjelica Huston was in the next room when it was going on, and has defended him over the years. Guess it'll be one of those things that gets taken to the grave like what happened with Natalie Wood.

I'm torn though as I love his films, almost every one is superb.

Really well done. Bet it was hard to capture the true emotion of the day but they got it right. Also the bravery by people in the face of nasty

The sad thing is that most of Hollywood still supports him, the likes of Natalie Portman and Emma Thompson signing a petition to allow him back to the US years back. You've also got Tarrantino who seems like a creep saying it wasn't rape back in 2003.

I watched this last night. I thought it was a brilliant film. I assume they have sorted out their policing since this?! Pretty crazy how long it went on for. I don't remember this happening in real life but totally agree with the poster above whereby a nutter with a gun shooting at point blank range is a lot scarier then a one off explosion (obviously still scary).

Yeah it definitely would be. There’s many factors, a bomb is a one off (or two/three off event) depending on how many planted, very different to being actively hunted down by crazed gunmen.

And I said that to my missus too. They’d have armed guards at the hotel now surely. And also have a local army base you’d assume. The 12 hour wait for reinforcements was ridiculous.

    The Art of Self-Defence [2019]

Jesse Eisenberg stars in this supposed black comedy about a mugging victim taking up karate. The plot's paper thin and predictable, the characters are caricatures and the funny bits aren't funny. Avoid.

Love scores like this. Not even worthy of a number.
