Ffs just glancing through this thread. Has this film just been spoiled?
The kid he took out at the end that was in the back of his car. The scarf wasn’t explained, he obviously took it with him. The film was geared towards making us believe they were there but were kidnapped for organ harvesting so that was just another prop to trick us.
Not unless you clicked my spoiler tag x
So they didnt go through the whole insurance thing or anything?
He might have but not for his daughter but for himself. He got treated at the hospital himself, but the wife and kid never made it. They died when the kid fell. I liked the twist, I can normally read films but wasn’t expecting it.
Just wanted to test this Spoiler tag!
What about the dog?
Oh f*ck off x
Some people need to read the thread title. Those little spoiler boxes are far too tempting to open
Nice. Will check it out. Cheers.
Speed Kills (2018)
John Travolta plays a motorboat racer who smuggles drugs into Miami. Not a brilliant film but the boat races were decent. 6.5/10.
An out of work but functional alcoholic finds a job transcribing phone-calls for a political surveillance firm, and finds himself at the centre of a conspiracy as things spiral out of control. Decent, quite tense in parts and well acted by the lead.
The Lobster (2015)
What to make of this surreal black comedy!?! A mans wife leaves him but he exists in a near future where it is illegal to be living on your own, and you can be arrested - and worse - if found to be without a partner. He books into a hotel where people are in a similar situation, and they have to find a partner within a certain timeframe otherwise they get turned into an animal of their choosing. This can be extended by regular hunts, where they are given tranquilliser darts and hunt down other people. Things don't go according to plan for him and he tries to find his own path and seek someone, another way.
Great cast, Colin Farrell in the lead especially was excellent and very funny in parts. However once they left the hotel sections, it didn't work as well for me. Interesting though.
I loved this film.
The classic biscuit woman suicide scene.
wank 3/10 gives Breaking Bad a bad name
for the second time as the wife had no one else to go with
I still think it’s shit
London Has Fallen (2016)
A laughable film with Gerard Butler kicking arse again, nobody except Americans could take it seriously. /10.
Ashley Jensen aye. I did like the bit afterwards where to impress that cold-hearted bitch, he kicked a wee lass in the leg out of nowhere!
Last night I watched Replicas on Netflix.
Was a very interesting movie. A little emotional as well.
The Commuter - fish piss/10
Wounds (Netflix) - 9/10
Things spiral out of control after a man finds a phone after a bar fight. Brilliant film with a superb ending.
