Never warmed to Man City. Didn't mind them back to when they played at Maine Road but the takeover changed a lot of things. The fact they are now 50% of PSG's bête noire in the CL may have something to do with it (I have far too much respect for Real Madrid to dislike them).

Hate Barcelona with a passion but they're less insuferable these days since they're shit and not getting out of the CL group stage. A horrible club that thinks the sun shines out of its own arse. At least Real admit that they're here to make money. Barca are just kidding themselves with this mes que un club slogan!

Although, to be fair, lots of clubs have delusions of grandeur, and think they're something special.

Liverpool are a prime example, with their ridiculous "This Means More" slogan, and their apparent belief that they're the only team who run out to a club song being played over the tannoy (even ignoring those other clubs who use the same tune, and the fact that 90% of English fanbases sang it in the 70s).

Man Utd have their "Theatre of Dreams"..... "Theatre of Cramp" or "Theatre Needing a Lick of Paint" would be more accurate.

Even my own club, Everton, used to use a stupid "Peoples' Club" tag for a while.

The fact is, all fans think their club is special, and their link to it is unique, whether it's a fan of a top club feeling smug, or a non-league fan feeling morally superior.

Jonny Vaughan on Radio X picked up on Barca's 'winning is in our DNA'. Even though they didn't win much before the 90's.

    Certainly as compared to Real.

What are your thoughts about Newcastle now that they've been taken over by the Saudis?

Man Utd. Going to school in Birmingham where there are about five or six decent clubs within a bus ride and lads carrying Man Utd sports bags, coming out with excuses like "My nan always had a soft spot for them so, you know"..

Rangers. Demolished Birmingham in 78 (or thereabouts). Scum..

Teams owned by individuals who are from wealthy states with questionable practices to say the least (Newcastle, Man City and PSG owners for example)

Strange statement even for a Bitter, but I'll go along with it if you give an identity to even 30% of the 90% of teams you claim ran out to this song ,bearing in mind this is supposedly limited to the 70's right ?

The main one for me is Stevenage. After the wholly demeaning way in which our fans were treated during the so-called Bra-gate incident in 2017, and the way in which our complaints were treated, I will never, ever set foot in that cesspit again. The combination of them and Steve Evans is a match made in the deepest, darkest corner of footballing hell and deserves to be fully punished by the forces of natural justice.

Honourable mentions go to Wycombe (I've never seen us win there and it's a horrible ground to get to and from) and Gateshead, whom I achieved the distinction of being blocked by on Twitter by pointing out it was perhaps unwise of them to invite Newcastle and Sunderland fans to watch them "beat Grimsby again" only for us to put six past them.

Newcastle fans probably enjoyed a team in black and white stripes scoring 6 goals!

Leeds used to sing it. During games though rather than at the beginning, and we sung it slightly differently how all the teams sing it now.

This was from the 80's but we did sing in the 70's. I do think most teams did.

Swindon Town. Absolute scum stewards. Felt like giving up being a fan the way I was treated there.
