    Friday Night Lights. Seasons 1-5.

In the small town of Dillon, Texas, Eric Taylor (played by Kyle Chandler) has recently been hired as the head coach for the Panthers, the High School football team and the town's pride and joy. Friday Night Lights displays the stress that the town gives the high school players to win, and the hope that the team gives to a small town. This show went on for five series from 2006 to its conclusion in 2011 and being an American football fan I really enjoyed the angle from a fan of the game, but that's only part of the story, there's so much more, and the musical segments are pretty cool too.

    8.33/10.

At amazon (.com, .co.uk, .de) /pilotseason you can actually watch 3 Pilots of planned amazon-series. If they get enough votes then amazon will make a series of it (like they've done it with "Bosch" or "Man in the High Castle" for example)

    The 3 pilots are:

    - Jean Claude Van....Johnson (starring Jean Claude Van Damme as an ex-retired Movie star/Agent)
    - I love Dick (a bit ambigious title it seems? starring Kevin Bacon)
    - The Tick (this should be a "superhero-comedy"?)

Actually I've only watched "Jean Claude van Johnson" so far. JCVD takes the mickey out of himself here. I liked it, nothing new but I haven't seen JCVD for a long time so I would be pleased if this pilot would make it into a full season.

Here's a link for the amazon.co.uk side (the other ones are similar, just change the URL to your country)
You can watch it without being a member of amazon-prime

Thought the first Bloodline was decent but a bit slow. Started watching the second and was bored, nothing happening at all. Gave up after 3 or 4 episodes.

Just started watching Stranger Things. Really enjoying it, the title is very apt. So weird!

    Better Call Saul (Series 2) - 8.4/10

Been a while since I watched the first series but from what I remember this series topped it. Really entertaining and I am loving the similarities with Breaking Bad, very intelligently written as well. Looking forward to series 3.

Absolutely loved it. Don't get moved easily by stuff on TV, but was actually close to tears at the final episode which doesn't happen often.

Films / shows to do with time travel can get cheesy very easily, but they pulled it off brilliantly.

Finally finished Season 7 of Sons of Anarchy. I have loved the whole thing from start to finish. Lots of violence, lots of silly stuff, lots of "holy ****" moments!

I have never watched Game of Thrones. I am debating whether to give it a go and see if I like it

Mate have you watched The Shield ?? Similar in a lot of ways to SOA where it's non stop action but the stories and acting is a step up in my opinion.

All about a police detective in L.A who is on the dodgy side and always on the war path!

Gonna start The Night Of later now that it's wrapped up.

Finished Stranger Things a few days ago, was good stuff.
I'n gonna start that tonight I think. Baffled me when I see people starting new tv shows when they haven't even watched all time great shows like The Wire & The Shield etc, madness! Priorities people.

I've spoken to people about The Wire, and many gave up watching during season 2.

I admit, the quality drops off, but it picks right back up towards the end and into Season 3 & 4 especially.

Stick with it. Still in my top 5 shows today.

Looking forward to this, based on the 1973 film with the same name, about a scientist who creates a theme park populated by artificial beings. Created by Jonathan Nolan, with J.J Abrams as an executive producer, starring Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris and Evan Rachel Wood.

I'm on to season 3 of Sons of Anarchy. First Season was good towards the end. Loved the bad guys in Season 2. Henry Rollins is a shite actor but does menacing pretty well. Season 3 is a bit of a mess. I cant see me making it all the way to the end like most of these US shows that go on for 100+ episodes
