Saw all 3 series of that and it is a good show

One episode left in the second series of succession which is a brilliant show. Anyone else like it?

    Always Sunny.
Been slowly getting through out, watched it out of boredom and had heard some good things.
Not a great first few seasons but it grows into something entertaining, bit silly but fun none the less.

And I was not expecting that ending to the final episode, impressive.

Just finished season 8 of The Walking Dead and season 4 of Fear the Walking Dead. I stopped watching them a couple of years ago but decided to catch up with what's available on Amazon prime. I quite enjoyed them but not enough that I'm pining to see the next available seasons so will wait until they're shown on prime too.

Yeah packed in watching the walking dead around season 6, it just got tedious imo. May give it another go one day.

Not seen any of The Fear of the Walking Dead, is it any good?

I thought it started off well but then just turned into The Walking Dead. I got bored in the last couple of series.

I watched the first episode of Walking Dead yesterday (so I am 1 behind) and quite enjoyed it. It was getting frustrating that people kept making stupid decisions but none in this series.

Season 1 & 2 are decent, season 3 is probably the worst and season 4 is my favourite so looking forward to seeing where season 5 takes it.

It is very samey though like TWD but it's decent viewing if you're struggling for something to watch. I find these shows are much better when you can binge them as they're very inconsistent when it comes to quality.

We only made it 2 episodes into Season 2 by that point the charachters were so dull and detestable I didn't want to watch any more even if I was stuggling for an alternative

Can't disagree with that to be fair, non of the characters in the first two seasons (or third for that matter) are remotely likeable.

Arguably better than season 1 for me, the casting director deserves an award for getting every killer spot on from Kemper to Manson to Wayne Williams.

Phenomenal tbh and as someone who is fascinated by this sort of stuff cannot wait for season 3 and the story revolving around BTK.

I just finished it last night.

Shit ending tbf but decent enough.

Could have made 1 season from 2 as it dragged at points.

I enjoyed it throughout I don’t think it needed Wendy or The Devil Child storyline though so I agree those bits dragged for me.

Mini-series starring Benedict Cumberbatch about a man who goes off the rails and struggles throughout his whole life due to the sins of his father and mother. This is not an easy watch due to the subjects involved, but I've never seen Benedict on such top form as this and I've pretty much followed his whole career (except for thon Marvel nonsense). The range, depth and emotion he showed in these 5 episodes was completely overwhelming and acting of the calibre that old hams like Day-Lewis and even Olivier just could not possibly reach.

I enjoyed it but my hubby didn’t. It’s slow paced but I don’t mind that. Great acting and a very good plot.

I think the first series is the worst as Frank isn't in it, whoever decided to add him made a great decision. Not only that but the characters personalities seem to grow with each series which is good.
I would have given it a solid 8/10 but I couldn't watch the last season without Dennis, the dynamic just wasn't the same. If he returns then I'll start again.

I'm 3/4 way through this. I can't decide if it's comedy or not. Very dark but then something absurd happens that's almost funny. As you say it's definitely different.

Is anyone watching The Godfather Of Harlem with Forest Whittaker playing the role of Bumpy Johnson and the menace of Vincent D'Onoforio as his Sicilian nemesis ? Its a stellar cast with Paul Sorvino of Goodfellas and Chaz Palminteri of Bronx Tale. Absolutely loving it thus far.
