For me it was 198 we took to Ipswich last season.
The 217 (I think) at Orient. Nothing major.
1200ish at Colchester I think. Not much of a hardcore away traveller, if I could drive I'd do a lot more.
I think we have a winner here!
Mine is 388 at Crewe for a Carling Cup match a couple of years ago.
I was in an away crowd of 160 at Cardiff last season, on a Tuesday night.
Around 100 at Walsall in the JPT 4 years ago.
I can beat 7... Went to watch Lewes U-18 in the F.A Youth Cup when they were away to Brentford. Me and my 3 mates were the only Lewes fans there, crowd of about 30 with an away attendance of 4.
Smallest with Brighton would be Northampton in the JPT. Probably about 200 Brighton fans. Got caught in traffic on the way up. Went 2-0 down after 20 minutes, had a player sent off, had another play stretchered off. Somebody I was trying to avoid sat behind me and kept starting conversation. Got started on after the game. Perfect away day really.
Started on by Northampton?
Was in a few low ones in our relegation season (05/06).... 400 to Crewe, 368 to Sheff Wed and 486 to Mansfield in the Carling Cup. 457 to Burnley as well, Christmas 2001. Was absolutely baltic, and finished 0-0 .
9. Cammell Laird away.
With Leeds United it's about 200 in a pre-season friendly at Falkirk a couple of years back.
However about five years ago I went with my mate to watch Bishop Auckland away at Chester Le Street Town in the FA Cup qualifying rounds. There were 13 of us, including me and my mate.
I was one of about 20 that went to Gloucester City in a GFA Senior Cup match in 2004.
This is Leigh RMI's away following for a game at Dagenham & Redbridge about a decade ago:
I don't know what my number would be. The 30 or so that we took to Hyde at the end of last season must be pretty close.
If friendlies count about 50-100, with Everton believe it or not, pre season game against Tranmere.
Something like 160 to Port Vale on a Tuesday night in February. One of our relegation seasons under Ronnie Jepson.
Every other week at Priestfield we're getting under-60. Barnet took 83 here, for a local derby.
Wasnt that last year? Thought we had a couple of thousand there?
5. Away in Waterford on a disgustingly wet Friday night a couple of years ago.
I was one of the 127 at Norwich last season on a cold Monday night in March live on Sky.
23 away at Mansfield in what was then the Auto Windscreen Shield in the early 90's.
