I’ve always liked this but I don’t like Jeremy Clarkson presenting. Chris Tarrant was much better. I’m tuning in , but not so keen. Anyone else watching?

A problem with Millionaire is its always been too slow. I watched a few minutes of last night episode, and though the woman was answering or explaining her choices going through the questions; Clarkson was doing the old 'are you sure' routine ad nauseam. I can't be arsed with quizzes like that, or the likes of Pointless spending 15 minutes at the start with 'banter' between Armstrong and the lanky fella, before getting life stories from people I'm not effin' interested in. Get to The Chase - literally!

Jeremy Clarkson is the worst person of all time so no I won't be watching. He's as funny as finding a lump on one of your bollocks in the shower. Why people keep giving this ignoramus a platform I will never know.

Loved it as a kid, but I'm not a big fan of Clarkson so I can't be arsed with it.

Same. Back in the 90s it was a cracker.

Anyone see The Quiz on ITV recently about the army guy who cheated to a million?

Clarkson is a **** but Tarrant was only marginally more likeable.

I don't mind Clarkson in top gear/Grand tour with the others. I don't like him in anything else though. This however can be quite amusing. Clarkson is quite arrogant and told a contestant he got an answer correct without looking at it and he was wrong. Was awkward but funny.

Yes I watched it. Enjoyed it if that’s the correct phrase

Did make me think whether he was actually innocent but then I thought nah of course he's not.

I've actually quite enjoyed Clarkson on it. I think the Ask the Host option has added a different dynamic to the show and brought the Host more actively into the show. And his smug, sarcastic demeanour and more opinionated presenting style such as encouraging people to be braver and not set low safety nets etc has made a change from Tarrant's completely neutral presenting style.

It's also created a few comedy moments too like when he arrogantly claimed an answer was correct because it was a question where he'd been asked for his opinion, while the computer embarrassingly showed in the background that the answer was in fact wrong.
