I'm still pretty shocked by that night tbh. How does a manager with an unmatched record in that very competition send his side out to get completely pulled apart by a pretty so-so Chelsea team? Bizarre, considering the team made it that far.

Coupled with the fact Arsenal were the only side in that final with something to play for besides the bragging rights of a trophy.

Everton's next six games are Leicester (a), Liverpool (a), Chelsea (h), Man Utd (a), Leicester (h) and Arsenal (a)

@johnnyT has previously assured me that they will be just fine during this run of incredibly tough fixtures...

Very bizarre chip on your shoulder to have. Apparently a club isn’t allowed to celebrate a victory against a title challenger these days!

YOU WON THE LEAGUE! Why the **** are you still bitching about something that was nearly 4 years ago?

No chip on my shoulder and I'm certainly not bitching .
Just pointing out that Arsenal's arrogance of 'Should be beating the likes of' has been around for awhile.
You'd think by now you'd realise maybe you aren't as good as you think you are.

There seems to be only one person here who is bitching.

There is been a big club, but there is also been a good team, the two don't necessarily go together, for what its worth I don't think your current first team is better than our's you have a top draw striker in Aubameyang, but none of your other players stand out for me. Also what is very important is it is a team game, so its the team as a whole not just individual big names.

I think you disrespected Sheff Utd saying it was a poor result to not win there. They above you for a reason.

If a squad is better than another squad, then yes they should be beating them. It’s not arrogance, why are you so obsessed with labelling others arrogant when it’s you guys showing the arrogance yourselves?

We got 70 points last season. That is a pretty good indication of the quality of a squad no?

Why don't Everton just go for Alex Neil, if they're willing to consider David Moyes?

Pre-season I said Arsenal's strikers make a huge difference to how their squad could be viewed, but they have those strikers and it isn't nearly as poor as the displays we're seeing. There's still quality in that squad far better than is being displayed. They've a negative goal difference! If coached properly I reckon there are a couple of CBs there who could at least resemble a passable partnership. This is a team that were 2 points off 3rd last season, and of the notable departures only Ramsey you could say is one that really stings. Having one of the world's best strikers in his peak, as well as a £72m winger and a very capable forward in Lacazette should help cover other deficiencies but Emery doesn't have a clue.

I can understand Arsenal fans being miffed that they've managed to find themselves 11 points shy of a Leicester side they finished 18 points ahead of last year. A side who lost a centre back for £85m in the summer, replaced him with a lad already there, and so far the only signing who's made the first XI is Ayoze Perez (I know Tielemans was made perm but he'd already been there). The difference in levels of quality from the coaching is stark.
