When did you watch him the last time? 2016? Because in the last 2 years he's normally quite shite (with an occasionally normal match). His decline is best shown in our last match against the Netherlands in the Nations League. We were 2-0 up when he came as a substitute after 70 minutes, the match ended 2-2 (ok, that wasn't his fault this time but lapses in the defense in the last 5 minutes where the Dutch scored 2 goals) but this was his 100th cap. And he got it as a substitute in a (for us) meaningless match. Normally a player who is on the brink of reaching the 100th cap would be in the starting team to illustrate this special cap not as an "also ran" in the last 20 minutes.

Just wanted to google this Mark Bright but then something made "click" in my head. Bright means also intelligent, clever in English....ah that's why you're the Doc(tor). :D

    LOL

I have to be honest, although I haven't recently watched Bundesliga, I have heard about this for some time. The Bayern support has made it known loud and clear ;)

Definitely. He was a very poor player, technically. He wouldn't have been able to play at high levels if it wasn't for his "alternative qualities". He balanced his flaws with his unbelievable resolution, cleverness and insatiable appetite for goals.

Nowadays, I like very much Cavani, extraordinary player, and beside this he knows very well all the tricks of the trade, as some well done analytic footages on YouTube show well.

Hernan Crespo was one of most intelligent strikers I've seen, his movement even without the ball was exceptional and the f*ckerz perception in front of goal 'nearly' broke my heart in Istanbul.
