Wolves fans in January, " Can't wait for Tammy Abrahams to start scoring goals at Molineux..." . Careful what you wish for.

Wolves haven't won yet? I was unaware. What is all that talk about Europe for, then?

We’ll see. He’s a goal scorer but I don’t think he’ll ever become the elite striker we’d like/need at Chelsea.

Would absolutely love to be proved wrong though so good luck to the lad.

You won’t ever get another Drogba.

Of course we will but it will take time. And rightly so. Special players are special because they’re not a dime a dozen.

The same way we will get another Messi/Ronaldo at some point. It just might take a while.

What does he have to do to become that striker though?

He could very easily end this season with 20+ goals, is that not enough? If Chelsea just go back to buying in "talent" the moment the transfer ban is lifted then this season would have been for nothing.

When I saw the line up I was a bit dubious about how we would play. Both teams started slowly but we grew into the match. Could quite easily have been more than 5.
Thought every player played well,,, probably we looked our weakest when Rudiger went off at halftime and Zouma came on ...always looks like an accident waiting to happen.
Mount, Kovacic and Tomori played well Alonso looked good too.
Wolves 2 central defenders looked shaky when ever the ball was played to Abraham or over the top.

Was a nightmare to get to Wolverhampton...Road works on the A14,A1 and the M6... so no time for A pre pub drink. Had to drink in the ground which I have to be honest was pretty good.
Absolutely baking in the stand with sun shining straight into your eyes... Must be a nightmare in August.

Strange thing we noticed was they have safe standing but everyone was sitting. Last year the ground was rocking yesterday it was fairly quiet after the Hi Ho Wolverhampton singalong..

Let’s wait until he scores 20+ goals. I certainly wouldn’t call it “very easy” for him to achieve that.

7 in 5 and coming off a great season in the Championship where his shot on target ratio was very impressive iirc. If Chelsea keep creating chances the way they do and can start rolling over lesser sides like Wolves then he should be able to hit that 20+ target.

The big test is next weekend against Liverpool. Though no better time to be playing us if you want to be scoring with Allison out.

7 goals already, with European and cup games still to be played, he could very well end the season 20+.

Still think Tammy should be given an ‘Anelka’ type role.

And to think wolves fans thought Abraham wouldn’t get in their team.

Well I can admit I was completely off with my prediction. Chelsea are going to be unpredictable all season I feel, that usually does come with younger players though. As for Wolves, shocking to concede so many .. can't blame the Europa League yet, but I feel Boly being out had something to do with it.

We missed Boly and that was compounded even further by bringing in Jesus who looks way off and resulted in a back three who'd never played together. We weren't much better against Everton at the back though, which is worrying. We need to get back to the 5 from last season who know each other inside out.
