The team nearly picks itself, probably a toss up between Costa and Traore to start.

    ----------------------Patricio-----------------

    --------Bennett----Coady-----Boly----------

    Doherty----Moutinho---Neves------Jonny

    ----------Traore---Jimenez---Jota-----------

I think there is an argument to be made that Costa should start as it has been working Traore making an impact off the bench but I think Traore has looked dangerous and other than his goal has been creating some very good chances so he has earned a start for me.

Be nice to get our first home win here, and then the pressure will be completely off the week after for a free swing at Man Utd.

I'd definitely start Costa. Would like to see Dendoncker and Cavaleiro on the bench.

Lots of injuries low on confidence and a shite record at this ground .....3-0 to Wolves...last season is a distant memory.

Should be a good game this.
Contrasting styles between the two teams.

You expect Wolves to win with the quality of their players and with Burnley having a poor start to the season.

Wolves have started like a train. Hard to see Burnley holding out.

Burnley are good defensively so I can see them nicking this.

Joe Hart showing he's still got it.

Two or three quality saves already.

I have them to win and over 3 goals in the match... 2nd time I’ve watched them this season and they have looked quite wasteful both times.

Nice seeing how good Conor Coady has gotten since we let him go.

Wolves have been a decent outfit in the Premier League so far so this is nothing against them, but I keep wanting to see more from Burnley.
How disappointing would it be as a fan, finishing 7th one season and into the 5th game of the next, going away to a promoted team and shutting up shop. Burnley are such a bore to watch.

Wolves to get another on the break. Probably involving the speed demon Traore.

It doesn't help that they refused to invest in the side. They overachieved last season and were going to regress.

It could be argued that Wolves last season were better than Burnley despite them finishing 7th (it can't be answered either way given they were in different leagues). Burnley scored 35 goals all season, had a negative goal difference and went 3 months without a win. The league was terrible below the top 6 last season and Wolves were the best Championship side in years. On the basis of this game there's a huge gulf between the sides.

That is a bit harsh on Burnley who had a very good season given their wage bill, but the field below them was particularly poor. They'll do well to stay up this season if Dyche isn't backed with hard cash in Jan.

Sounds like Adama could’ve had three assists in 25 minutes
