If you were to call up say, a 23 man Scotland Squad.. Who would fit in?

    Scott Bain
    Jon McLaughlin
    David Marshall

    Kieran Tierney
    Andrew Robertson
    Scott McKenna
    Liam Cooper
    John Souttar
    Callum Paterson
    Stephen O'Donnell

    James Forrest
    Ryan Jack
    Calum McGregor

    Stuart Armstrong
    Robert Snodgrass
    Ryan Fraser

    Steven Fletcher
    Mark McNulty
    David Turnbull
    Steven Naismith

Obviously this is based in what i've personally seen this season, i noticed our forward line is slacking.

    Who would yours be?

I wouldn't be surprised if you see him come out of retirement.

I know Oli McBurnie's hardly been brilliant for Scotland, but he's a far better striker than Steven Fletcher these days. I know he had a nightmare in Kazakhstan playing through illness, but he's clearly more committed than a lot of your other players having flown to Kazakhstan and missed the Swans games either side.

    2018/19

    Steven Fletcher - played 37, scored 8
    Oli McBurnie - played 44, scored 24

There's a reason McBurnie's likely to be getting a Premier League move, and it's because he's got far more on offer than he's been able to show in his limited time so far.

Not sure what Lewis Morgan has done to earn himself a place. Same goes for Oli Burke.

    McBurnie injured apparently?

    Squads a shocker tbh.

Would have rather seen guys like Turnbull and Johnstone get a chance that Burke and Morgan.

And how Liam Cooper doesn't get in a will never know, Findlay has been good this season but not for a Scotland squad imo.

Are some of those forwards actually forwards?

Seems to be a lot of wide players but I guess they'd fit in a 3 man attack.

Midfield doesn't look too bad if they play well when called upon.

The strikers are Brophy, McNulty and Russell. I'd expect Brophy to start.

Armstrong false 9 with Fraser and Russell either side is what I would do. Tactical genius innit.

He will go Forest and Fraser wide with Brophy upfront, the right way to go imo while Griffiths is out.

Out of that squad I would go

    Bain
    O’Donnell McKenna Soutter Robertson
    McGregor McGinn
    Armstrong
    Forrest Brophy Fraser

Forgot about Forrest he would play over Russell. You do seem to have a shortage of decent strikers what happened to that kid at Malaga? Remember he was touted as a good prospect.

Our strikers are poor, only Griffiths could hold his own agianst decent opposition but he has his own problems the now which are hopefully better next season.

Jack Harper a think you mean, duno tbh not really heard much about him.

Fraser Hornby has been outstanding for our u21s but I don't think he has hit it off on loan spells away form Everton.

    What has Clark just does.

This is either going to be a genius decision going with this line up or we are going to get completely hammered, not that that couldn't happen anyway but no Robertson, Forrest, Fraser or McGinn and a back line full of SPFL players and past it Mulgrew.

Will be doing well to get away with a two goal defeat.

    Thought Scotland done well there.

Belgium obviously the better team but we were defending and passing the ball well.

Well aware that could all change
