If I have done it right, I've sent an application (CV included) to become the manager of the mighty Cobblers
Haven’t a clue mate, didn’t even realise I’d been promoted. Will probably resign from both games shortly tbh.
Sorry for the delay mate, the Northampton board of directors were very happy with your interview and are delighted to offer you the job! Good luck, and see you in the Premier League!
Haha I did notice that myself but decided to avoid them just in case the real world got into the game and I suddenly went from managing a Div 5 side to managing a Sunday League side. What is the game like with regards to transfers. I assume it goes through a process of make an offer, club accepts, player decides if he fancies a move and if he does terms are then discussed? Is it realistic in the sense that as a Div 5 club I'm unlikely to be attracting players who are established in the top divisions?
I've arrived for my first day (I'm more of a tracksuit type of manager but dusted the suit down for this special day) and suddenly there is talk of promotion from the board......no mention of it during the interview Thanks for accepting me to the game though
You make the offer. Computer teams will accept the value. 24 hours later the offer will be accepted. If two players make the offer the one with the highest offer wins the player. It doesn't go to contracts and stuff, they just accept. And on what players will accept you depends on the average quality of your team, I think you might be able to sign 89s or something but not higher till you build up your average.
Took a spanking to get my managerial career up and running last night can only get better now I guess. It's a shame that you can't watch the game as it happens and make changes on the spot - trying to pre-empt all possible scenarios is hard work
You can set your tactics for substitutions at certain times based on certain goals and update the formations and what not at that time
Struggling for cash at Macclesfield as I have done from pretty much the start I bought this ****er for £1.5m back in July....first week he gets injured and out for a few weeks and now he's decided to retire....I'll end up getting 2 games out of him for £1.5m Had horrendous luck with injuries this season with this team and having such a small squad has made it an almighty struggle. Glad to manage to finish 2nd to be honest....need another cash injection Fairplay to @Joga bonito on the League Title x
Wycombe Wanderers are Premier League Champions! The journey is over... from League 2 through to the top tier... only 2 points away from being centurions! Was a tense title race @King_Kenny !
Sssh, dont tell them, they'll whine claiming unfairness Ground extension myself, wow this will be a game changer, may be able to afford my wages now
