    Definitely not a red. He got the ball, so it was a legal tackle whatever happens after. Perhaps a booking would be fair.

    I’ve always thought as long as you get the ball then it’s not a foul, football is such a soft sport nowadays.

    Eh ? If you dive in with two feet at full force and take the ball but then snap a players ankle in half does that make it a legal tackle ?:laugh:

    I like Brighton and want them to do well under Potter but their powder puff attack is becoming increasingly laughable

    You've always thought incorrectly then. When the referee's making that decision, whether he's won the ball or not is completely irrelevant.

    Okay, point taken. I miss the strong tackles we used to see. It’s almost a guaranteed yellow or red nowadays.

    Never understand those bookings.

    Let him timewaste all game but give him a booking in the 90th minute to appease the fans. He's never getting a second booking this late in the game so why bother booking Ramsdale?
