Stillhurts claim was straight forward to me and i know what to expect from his role, i understand David's experience may not know the full ins and outs of his role, but it just seemed that he was trying to imply that SH could be lying with what he said at the end is this an easy early claim to build trust. Because its a little bit similar to a miller type role but it puts it on the other player. It is to counter act a cop which is generally town. With this role, it doesn't mean that scum are going to have investigative roles, it is just simply added to add confusion. Well, i don't and can't see how Sandsy can be so confident that Jason is scum with what he has. So how is it the most interesting post from yesterday?

It's not a high chance they get rid of him on this basis though, don't think that because he has claimed a role, and is likely town, they would get rid of him on that basis. His role is no threat to scum, if anything it could aid scum in manipulating the thought trail of others to there advantage. I'm not using it as a scum hunting tool, people using the fake shot as a tool is over done, it doesn't carry the same weight anymore and people are used too it, so is it really getting the desired reaction from people, as it did when it was in the early stages? I don't think it is.

Right, on another subject. The deadline is the middle of the night for me. Can we please make sure - if it goes to a no lynch - that the two people with the most votes don’t have exactly the same numbers of votes please (like now the top two are 4-4) Will be up for the next hour so can explain a bit more if really necessary…or it can wait till a later date…

I second that. I don’t quite understand the logic behind the vote given it’s only D1 and only a fellow scum-mate would know if somebody in the game was scum. Anyway, moving on. Personally finding D1 a bit of a chore which is why I’ve yet to offer too much. I like what I’ve read from the usual suspects – Guyett, Burg, SS and Joga all coming across as town to me so far. I’m not sure what to make of SH’s role claim but happy to see how that plays out – early reveal makes him a town-lean for me at the moment.
Looking back at this. A) anyone that claims claims a ‘town role’ B) how do you know it’s a town role? Slip?
Does anyone use it in a way to gage reactions anymore? I always assume it’s for comedic effect tbh. And given it’s D1 that is more likely to be the case. I’ll say again, your using of this strikes me as you trying too hard to seem like you’re engaging.
