We'll finish below City, Liverpool, Arsenal, United and Chelsea but I think our struggles are greatly exaggerated. I think the league as a whole looks quite weak next year. Kane is irreplaceable but I still expect us to finish around the top 6 tbh. No European football will be a massive advantage over the likes of Villa and Newcastle who took up two of those spots last season. West Ham will also have European football again this season. Ange will get us playing football, creating more chances and hopefully the goals will be spread around a bit more than they were last season. Richarlison, Son and Kulusevski will probably all have better seasons than the last campaign and Maddison should chip in with his share of goals too which we've lacked from our midfield. At the very least I think we qualify for Europe this season which will be an improvement on last. Any lower than 7th and Ange will be out of a job and rightly so. Even without Kane we're better than the majority in this division. I can't really fathom how any of that "top 6 / super six" finish bottom half and with the exception of Chelsea I don't think any of them have finished lower than 8th in recent times.

Richarlison being anything other than mediocrity personified will certainly be a surprise to everyone.
This is his big chance now, and he will have some great service around him so I think he will do very well.
Champions city Europe CL Arsenal CL villa for the laugh CL United CL Liverpool (could be 5th place could be europa league winners etc england will have 5 spots though imo EL: chelsea ECL: Spurs Relegated Wolves Luton sheff utd Surprise package Forest everyone has them to go down. I'm thinking midtable for no particular reason than they have continutity now. Top goalscorer Haaland - not hard is it? First manager sacked Moyes: I'm convinced they want him gone and any short bad run will do.
I think its to do with heart and focus. If a club culls the manager quick enough they can put the fear back into players. Cehsela with that silly caretaker stuff drove themsevles to bottom half. My view on your plight is that your first 11 is probably "fine" you could do with a CB. Theres plenty there in the forwards and attacking full backs to score but that goals agaisnt column was what really cost you.

Trying to predict things is a bit of a fools errand with 3 weeks of the window left, but assuming we're losing caicedo I'd be delighted if we manage to get anywhere close to a top half finish. More interested in the Europa League this season to be honest
Defence isn't great but I kind of expect us to concede fewer goals just because we won't spent 90 minutes defending every week as we were under Mourinho and Conte.
Is this the season a 5th team will potentially get a spot in the Champions league as part of UEFA’s Champions league expansion which sees more teams get in and extra games ?
Well yes but football is all about money so who cares if the players are having to play too much so long as the revenue comes in. They are just used as collateral damage.
No Kopite worth his salt 'ever' predicts anything less than first. Liverpool City Arsenal United Relegated Wolves Burnley Sheffield United
