Ive played numerous sports since i was about 5 then this stopped me in my tracks and was feeling worse doing nothing

Fistulas can be nasty bastards especially with the bacteria surrounding the digestive system just try and eat as healthy/organic as possible so even the biproducts arent riddled with bad stuff. I've never had a bag but I know people who have and said if they offered it to me to take the chance as it's done wonders for them (i dont think i would take the option unless i had no choice though personally).

They sorted you out with any treatment or plans for treatment? Defo youre not alone, I didnt think there was as many as there is on this board with it tbh. Im lucky that my girlfriends uncle is the lead person for Crohns and UC for Yorkshire so he's very knowledgable about it. At the minutes im going solo with no treatment because Im eating healthier and playing sport but ive just moved house so I will be going on Anti TNF treatment soon (Imixiflab injections i presume)

I'm quite lucky with mine. Even though they say it's severe it's really not that bad. They incorrectly diagnosed me about 4 times at first but found out I had an abcess in my intestine about the size of a 2p which was no wonder why i was in agony haha. Once I had that removed Ive been fine compared to others, I get bad cramps and even though its from my small intestine down and severe i only really suffer from really bad cramps often. Its really trial and error with food though, I had to do a food diary for about 3 months to whittle out what was making me cramp up (mainly garlic and fizzy drinks). Ive been as good as it gets really since the op, once you are fully recovered try to get/be active as possible. I started being active (as i stopped for 24 months with the condition and recovery) and cant recommend it enough, ive not been half as bad playing sport!

How did the op go pal?

I got diagnosed with it about 9 months ago and still trying to find suitable treatment atm. It's not all bad though ;)
