Aston Villa Brighton Man City QPR Southampton Reading Gateshead Werder Bremen Bayern Munich Mechelen NTS ~ KV Kortrijk
I almost forgot- Aston Villa Brighton Man Utd (pls) Man City Southampton Peterborough Morecambe Gateshead Werder Bremen Mechelen AFC Bournemouth
I think it’s looking like I’ve improved this week against @Cal_BCFC’s score, but not by enough. I think we’ve scored similarly this week so far and they are currently on track for a full house, so I will likely bow out in the semi finals of the cup. Southampton v Millwall is the fixture that cost me today - I wish them both seven years bad luck, and for St Mary’s and The Den to collapse into giant sink holes. That should almost even things up.
Man city only scoring 1? Smh 4+1+1+1(2)+1+1+1+4+1+3+3+5=27 Must be close to the lowest scoring fh… (that would be 19)
Full house galore this week as we see no less than 6 players finishing with a full set. Top scoring this week is TAFKAP who also happens to be the only player to move upwards in the table as his high score is enough for him to climb above StretfordEnd and into 5th. Our top 3 also join in the full house fun with Cal_BCFC, Daz_Blade and Vanni all completing their set to leave the top of the table as it was at the start of this game week whilst TLC remains in 4th having scored well without the bonus. The other full houses come courtesy of Garrincha and shudewill and whilst Garrincha's scores sees them pull further away from the bottom group, the full house for shudewill keeps him within touching distance of the top group. At the bottom, dale4ever continues to try and recover the deficit but with Panja's return the gap actually widens this week whilst RedDogChris and Borussia Teeth continue to keep themselves out of that battle at the bottom. Mini-League Series It's all change in The Super League group as Vanni does continue to lead the way but is now a mammoth 15 points ahead of the rest after just 2 weeks of the new season. Remarkably their closest rival is now TAFKAP whose top score sees him from the relegation zone to the top 2 with Super_horns out of the top 2 and down to 4th. Daz_Blade's full house sees him up to 3rd with TLC slipping down to 5th but remaining out of the bottom 2 which is now occupied by StretfordEnd and Spaceman Spiff. The full houses change the look of The Premier Division group as well as Cal_BCFC rises to the top at the expense of RedDogChris who slips to 3rd with CFC91 holding onto 2nd spot. shudewill is now out of the bottom 2 with Borussia Teeth slipping down to join me in the relegation zone. The Pub Division is the only group with no positional changes as Garrincha continues to lead the way with a massive 28 point lead over dale4ever in 2nd place. Colinmorriswalksonwater is not far behind but with Panja getting their season underway, we could end up with a 4 way battle for promotion in this group. GOS League Trophy The final is now confirmed with Cal_BCFC being one of the finalists having swatted Spaceman Spiff aside with victory in both legs and he will play TAFKAP who has managed to overturn a 10 point deficit from the 1st leg to overcome Super_horns in a GOS classic. That means we are guaranteed another new name on this illustrious trophy and also means that Super_horns is stopped from making it a hat-trick of League Trophy successes. All of your scores for the week, along with the new table, GOS League Trophy results and the latest mini-season tables can now be found below. Navigate through the different weeks by clicking on the tabs at the bottom. If you spot an error then just let me know! The players are in alphabetical order to give you a clue as to how far you have to scroll right to find your scores and it is still the same in that the league tables include the number of Full Houses (FH), Not To Scores (NTS) and Double Points Selections (DB) you've been successful with as well as your total points. I will use those 3 things (in this order) to determine the outcome of any ties Player of the Month: We have an extra day in February this year but it's not enough for another Feb week of GOS and that means it is time to find out who our next POTM is: 3rd - Daz_Blade (124 Points) 2nd - TAFKAP (128 Points) *************************************************** 1st - VANNI (134 POINTS) *************************************************** They've spent February bringing themselves back into title contention and so no surprise to see @Vanni at the top of the pile for Feb and earning a well deserved first POTM award of the season - congratulations August - @Panja September - @Garrincha October - @Cal_BCFC November - @StretfordEnd December - @TLC January - @Borussia Teeth February - @Vanni
Bollocks. I feel like I’m a breath away from a full on strop. To add insult to injury, it would be sodding Millwall wouldn’t it!
I think I'll have two **** lists, sides that ruin my accas and sides that ruin GOS. Brighton straight onto the **** list for the latter, for failing to keep a clean sheet against Everton (Everton!).
Another good week, and a decent month all round - if only I could have been this consistent earlier in the season!
Very good month from you this month. Just pipped to the monthly award by the Greek composer of music for the best British Airways TV ad ever (at least I think that’s who it is )
