The excitement this season will come in the form of the in-team battles. Sainz vs Leclerc could be tasty as Carlos is basically driving for himself, as shown with the overtakes today. Danny Ric vs Tsunoda… already drama after 1 race. Oscar vs Lando… not fiesta but gonna be super close between them all season I think. Genuine good competition. Russell vs Lewis… will hopefully be a lot closer than it was today. George will want to prove he can be the no1 driver at the team.
That Crofty on Sky is a tit. Trying to drum up excitement when a driver moves up from 14th place to 13th.
In the last 475 days only one driver has won a race that doesn’t drive for Redbull. 1 win in nearly 18 months. Ridiculous.
Someone else with a big role in the sport in a bit of bother . Mohammed Ben Sulayem: FIA president under investigation for alleged attempt to interfere over F1 race
He really shouldn't be getting involved with shit like that. I know nothing will happen but hopefully this stops it from happening again.
Gets worse for the FIA. Mohammed Ben Sulayem: FIA president allegedly told officials not to certify Las Vegas GP
this is the one nobody can get away with. no matter what else you do, youwill not cross Americans and get away with it. blatter was fine until he crossed USA an world cup 2022. he might have rammed it home but he found himself.arrested in Switzerland with his house raided and in serious bother. this guy will not cross the yanks and get away with it.
Well done to Christian Horner for making this year in F1 slightly interesting, nothing to do with the actual racing, which is shite. Media are pressing Max to comment on whether he agrees with his dad about Horner. It's not looking good for Horner IMO as Max and his dad seem a pretty tight unit. I wonder if Christian signed a pre nup with Ginger?.......
So they suspended the person subjected to the sexual harassment? Maybe it's their way of getting her out of Horner's presence as Ginger insisted? I am thinking this is going to blow up even more in their faces.
Christian Horner may want, in his words, to "draw a line" under this issue, but the actions of his employers today have poured a very large amount of petrol on a fire that was still well alight. Perhaps they didn't know that tomorrow is International Women's Day when they made the announcement. The cynic in me rather suspects that even if they did know, they probably didn't care. Either way, and whatever reason they may think they have to justify their actions, it looks utterly appalling from the outside and it gets worse the more you look at it. Why was Horner allowed to remain in his post throughout the investigation and this employee has now been suspended? Why is Red Bull refusing to say who carried out the investigation and if, as is being reported, it has refused to share details of the investigation with key organisations within the sport, why? It is almost as though Red Bull has looked at how Yorkshire County Cricket Club mishandled Azeem Rafiq's allegations and decided that is exactly how it should behave. It is incredible. This whole affair already stank to high heaven before today but the smell has just got a whole lot worse and it will continue to do so for as long as those questions remain unanswered.
It's pure retaliation but Horner will get away with it purely because both he and Red Bull can afford better lawyers than the complainant. It's not going to blow up unless people constantly dog Horner and Red Bull about this.
Even worse, the scummy bastards did it on the eve of international women's day. Ginger obviously has zero self respect.
